Where many warriors Intertwine the power of magic with the strength of their blades, Armancers take their art even further. With bizarre rituals and strange magic, an Armancer fuses the very aspects of themselves with that of their weapons. Armancers eternally bind themselves to their weapon of choice and in time may carry an entire arsenal within their very soul.
Armancer's Ritual
At 3rd level you learn a special 1 hour ritual that allows you to bind a weapon to your living soul. The weapon is considered magical to overcome damage resistance. The number of weapons you can become bound to is equal to your proficiency modifier. Upon completing the ritual, the weapon fades into nothingness and you can sense it's presence within you.
As a bonus action you may summon a bound weapon into an empty hand. If both hands are empty you may summon two weapons.
Furthermore, thrown weapons may be returned to you as bonus action. And weapons that require Ammo no longer need ammo.
Any magical weapons that are attuned to can be made into a bound a weapon without using the ritual.
Bound weapons cannot be disarmed and are considered indestructible.
Lethal Bond
At 3rd level, when you use an Armancer's ritual on a weapon that weapon becomes supernaturally deadly. Weapon attacks made with a bound weapon critical on a 19.
Imbue Aspect
Beginning at 7th level, you may imbue a bound weapon with a magical energy as a bonus action. This energy deals 2d10 additional damage. This effect lasts until the weapon is dispelled or an hour passes. You may use this ability a number of times a day equal to you proficiency bonus.
This magical damage can be:
Lightning
Fire
Acid
Cold
Poison
Thunder
Radiant
Necrotic
Weightless weapon
At 10th level, your bound weapons become true extensions of self. When a foe fails to strike you with a melee attack you may instantly strike them as a reaction. If your reaction attack hits your foe takes their next attack with disadvantage.
Soul Slicing
At 15th level, you gain the ability to siphon the spirit of a slain foe through a bound weapon.
After you land the killing blow with a bound weapon, you may heal a number of hit points equal to your weapon's damage dice. This includes any magical damage modifiers and your weapon attack modifier.
Flawless Link
Starting at 18th level, your Bound weapons are flawless manifestations of your soul. The weapons themselves and any magical effect placed on the weapon cannot be dispelled through any means unless done so by the pc's own will.
Further more your attachment and skill with your weapon cannot be hindered, you no longer attack with disadvantage.
