Students of the Primordial Currents come from a temple in the south that lies between a volcano and the ocean. Over a millenia, the monks of the temple watched the ocean tides wax and wane, and the volcano erupt and cool in the water. Mimicking these motions and reactions from the opposite forces, they were able to focus their ki and create healing abilities from the opposing elements. You cannot benefit from your abilities.

Flowing Ki

You use the healing tides of the ocean to bring vitality back to your target. You can use your action to spend 1 ki point and heal your target for 1d6 healing as the waters of life flow through your target. The healing increases by 1d6 as you reach 6th lvl, 11th lvl, and 17th lvl. You cannot benefit from your abilities.

Flame Transference

At this stage in your training you have begun to master the flames of your ki. When you use your Flurry of Blows, you can spend 2 extra ki points to cause the targets body to be wreathed in harmless flames. Until the start of your next turn, when an ally is within 20 ft of the target and makes a successful attack on them, the ally gains temporary hp equal to half of the Flurry of Blows damage that you caused. You cannot benefit from your abilities.

Primordial Steam

You have figured out how to channel both your flames and tides at the same time. You can use your reaction to spend 2 ki points to erupt steam from your palms into a friendly target within 15ft, causing them to emit steam around their form. In doing so, attacks against the target of your Primordial Steam have disadvantage until the start of your next turn. You cannot benefit from your abilities.

Pyroclastic Cooling

Mastering your control over the heating and cooling of others, you have gained the ability to make those you have healed in the past, heal others. You can spend 4 ki points to focus one target that has benefited from your Primordial Currents abilities, as long as they are within 60ft of you. If they have benefited from one of your abilities within a 1 minute, a cloud of pyroclastic energy explodes out of them, healing all allies within 20ft of the target, including themselves, for 2d8 healing, and any enemy within 20ft of the target takes 2d8 force damage from the explosion. You cannot benefit from your abilities.
