Base Class: Fighter
The Brute subclass is a subclass designed to use strength in a more direct way. The Brute uses its strength to rip amd tear throughthr the battlefield. The Brute finds dextrous weapons to be ineffective because of its sole use of strength.
Ground pound
The ground pound is an attack where the user forcibly strikes the ground hard enough to send rocks into the air. The rocks hit all targets within 6 ft of the user causing 3d6 bludgeoning damage.
Brute strength
Beginning when you choose this archetype at 3rd level, your weapon attacks have a +1 to hit and damage.
Force
Starting at 7th level, you can use a pumch im the direction of your enemies to send a force wave that deal 5d4 force damage.
Additional Fighting Style
At 10th level, you can choose a second option from the Fighting Style class feature.
Defense
While you are wearing armor, you gain a +1 bonus to AC.
Dueling
When you are wielding a melee weapon in one hand and no other weapons, you gain a +2 bonus to damage rolls with that weapon.
Great Weapon Fighting
When you roll a 1 or 2 on a damage die for an attack you make with a melee weapon that you are wielding with two hands, you can reroll the die and must use the new roll, even if the new roll is a 1 or a 2. The weapon must have the two-handed or versatile property for you to gain this benefit.
Protection
When a creature you can see attacks a target other than you that is within 5 feet of you, you can use your reaction to impose disadvantage on the attack roll. You must be wielding a shield.
Two-Weapon Fighting
When you engage in two-weapon fighting, you can add your ability modifier to the damage of the second attack.
Superior Critical
Starting at 15th level, your weapon attacks score a critical hit on a roll of 18–20.
Survivor
At 18th level, you attain the pinnacle of resilience in battle. At the start of each of your turns, you regain hit points equal to 5 + your Constitution modifier if you have no more than half of your hit points left. You don’t gain this benefit if you have 0 hit points.

Posted Jan 21, 2022The idea is generally interesting but it definitely could use some improvement.
3rd Level) Is Ground Pound gained at 3rd level? I would limit the amount of times you can use this per short/long rest (e.g. Strength modifier/Proficiency bonus) and start the damage off at 1d6. It is then probably fine if this damage then increases by 1d6 at level 7, 10, 15, and 18. Brute Strength making any weapon you use basically a +1 Magic at this low of a level is too strong and should be removed.
7th Level) You should limit the amount of times, that Force can be used. Also, specify the range, up until which you can still hit an enemy. In case this is intended to work like a cone weapon attack, lower its damage to something like 2d6 for a 15ft cone.
10th Level) You should give the Subclass something unique here, another fighting style isn't very interesting. Especially for the fighter who gets more Feats and can just take Fighting Initiate.
15th Level) Again, this feature should feel unique to this subclass.
18th Level) This is also just another skill from the Champion and should instead be something you create yourself. For instance, you can add effects to previous skills like enemies having to succeed on a Strength save against Force or else be knocked prone.

Posted Dec 22, 2021You basically made a champion that can snipe people from an infinite distance with FORCE at level 7 and can AoE better than any class at level 3. Don't want to talk about the +1 to attack and damage roll. maybe nerf it a little please
