Gain the inept ability to control a personalized Stand of your choice, allowing for a large array of combat styles influenced by stand energy and user's enhancements.

A Stand is an entity psychically generated by its owner, referred to as a Stand User. It generally presents itself as an ethereal figure hovering over or near the user and possesses abilities beyond that of an ordinary humanoid, which, depending on the Stand User, can be wielded for good or evil. Since a Stand is the form of its User's psyche, they share an intimate psychic bond. First and foremost, Stands usually obey their Users' command without question. If a User demands it, the Stand will perform any task within its capacities, which includes attacking someone, defending the User, or any miscellaneous order.

 

Later on, you will learn the ability of using Hamon, an ancient fighting style devised to slay undead, vampires and even some higher beings. Hamon is an energy identical to the Sun's rays, which the human body can produce through controlled breathing, having the effect of producing ripples of energy propagating from the bloodstream to the rest of the body and other objects in contact with it. The Ripple manifests itself as electricity-like sparks, and it can be seen by ordinary humanoids. Once you have learned both, you may combine them in a deadly force to be reckoned with. 

 

Once you unlock Hamon, you can combine it with your stand's power for a devastating combination of power.

 

This style of training is best used with other classes after unlocking the features of this one, notably the Stands.

The Power of Stands

Choose a stand type to control and master over your superior ancient training as a deciple of The Way of the Alternate Self. Alongside being able to control a stand, you gain the ability of bonus types of actions. You also gain Psychic resistance, due to your soul being directly controlled by your wisdom, along with truesight, in order to see other people's stands. You also gain proficiency in a One-Handed weapon of your choice. You also learn telepathy in order to communicate with your stand.

Stand: Bad Breath

With this stand, you gain the ability to cause random status effects upon you or the enemy by using the power of your stand's terrible breath. You also gain immunities to poison, petrification and slash damage, the bad breath having taught you how to protect agains all of them. You also gain a bonus when using weapons.

Stand: Form Weapon

With this stand, you conjure your stand into the shape of a weapon that your stand has collected information on. Once you form the weapon from your stand, you may use it to attack in combat alongside your incredible fighting skills. You gain bonus strength from using this stand, due to the conditioning it takes to maintenance your stand. You start off with 3 basic weapons from selection, due to your stand having natural built-in knowledge of weaponry. As time passes on, your stand learns weaponry types on it's own, without you having to show the stand the weapon.

Stand: Grappler's Delight

With this stand, you gain the ability to summon vines from your hand to help assist in grappling your foes, along with the ability to damage your foes with thunder-based grapple moves. You also gain a wisdom roll advantage. You also get a +3 bonus on rolls related to unarmed combat.

Stand: Martial Prowess Embodied

Using your superior Ki training, you can summon a familiar gladiator to attack alongside you. It shares the same hit points and damage as you, and if it takes damage, so do you. This familiar has 2 more initiate than you, due to always being on top of the situation at hand. Your stand gains superhuman strength and can faze through walls. Your stand can only be seen in true sight. Your stand also has a flying speed the same as your walking speed. Due to you using your familiar alongside yourself, you become more prone to force damage. Attacks with unarmed combat involving your stand have advantage. Combo attacks involving your stand also have advantage. (EX: Your stand grapples an enemy while you attack separately.)

Stand: Time Fighter

This stand has the unique ability to manipulate time itself, by either stoping or slowing down time temporarily. The user of this stand also gains the implemented ability of unarmed combat, along with advantages on initiative and insight due to their ability to semi-predict the future.

Stand Mastery or Hamon Introduction

Having used Stand Energy for a long time, you have the choice to master your stand and increase it's effectiveness or learn the ancient martial art technique, Hamon Power. If you choose to learn Stand Mastery, you cannot change Hamon Introduction. Same vice versa. Getting this far, you gain an extra action through your rigorous training as a Stand User, along with 2 ability score upgrades of your choice.

Hamon Introduction

After spending increased lengths of time, you decide to learn how to perform Hamon. Hamon comes with many different attacks, all varying in skill of the user. You also now attack using lightning as your unarmed damage instead of bashing damage.

Stand Mastery

You master your stand abilities, gaining bonuses to wisdom and dexterity, along with the ability to fly using your stand. You also gain a +1 bonus to unarmed attacks from your rigorous training. In addition to your mastery, you gain an action that allows you to copy any attack done by an enemy and attack them back with it as a reaction. You also gain access to the abyssal language.

Stand Overdrive or Hamon Mastery

You are given the choice between learning Stand Overdrive or Hamon Mastery if you have learned Hamon Introduction. If not, the only option for you is Stand Overdrive.

Hamon Mastery

Learning how to Master Hamon will unlock all of the benefits of the full Sendō Martial Art style including many new Hamon abilities for use.

Stand Overdrive

Through vigorous exercise and training, your Stand gains the ability to take more damage than usual, making it more resistanf. It also gains Hamon Introduction if you have learned it, allowing you to do double Hamon attacks. You also gain 2 ability score improvements of your choice.

Way of the Alternate Sendō Master

Being a Master of The Way of the Alternate Sendō grants 2 ability score improvements and a final action improvement. You also become completely immune to Lightning Damage due to your body conducting a small amount of natural Hamon Energy.
