Druid
Base Class: Druid

The circle of the monster is a druidic circle, who unusually do not care all that much about nature, more about their prey.
at one point they probably were an upstanding circle of druids, protecting nature as the rest do, but now they're looking down upon, in druid circles and even more so in towns and cities.
many of them work as mercenaries, and most of them lean towards evil due to the dark magic they meddle in.

awakened monster

due to the dabbling in the dark magic and disrupting the natural process you have become more powerful, and the monster inside of you is always ready to be released. other druids are too worried about protecting nature to obtain true power.

you can shift form in one bonus action. whenever you take damage out of monsterous form, you can use your reaction to turn into one of your wild-shape forms, and have it take the damage instead.

tainted forms

due to the tainted nature of your relationship with the natural world, you are unable to shift into beast forms, instead you can shift into the forms of monstrosities, and two other types of your choice out of the following list; fiends, dragons, celestials, oozes, fey  or undead.

you use the circle of the moon CR restrictions for this feature.

leaking corruption

Starting at 6th level, your attacks in shifted form count as force or necrotic for the purpose of overcoming resistances.

frightening presence

at 3rd level, you may frighten your enemies once per short rest. the target must make a wisdom saving throw equal to your spell DC. on a failure they are frightened for one minute. on a success they are not.

enhanced form

the strength of your willpower allows you to take control of stronger creature forms without losing your mind.  Starting at 6th level, you can transform into a monster with a challenge rating as high as your druid level divided by 3, rounded down.

corrupted shroud

At 10th level, you may expend a use of wild shape to create a shroud expanding out from the center of you. any creature standing within 20 feet of you must make a wisdom saving throw equal to your druid level or take 3d10+your druid level necrotic or force damage. you may choose not to damage certain creatures with this. this effect lasts up to a minute.

monstrous outburst

By 14th level, you have gained the ability to expend all of your wildshape uses to turn into a creature(monstrosity or one of the two you chose) of cr equal to your level. you may not use legendary or lair actions as this creature.

at higher levels: at level 18 you may turn into a creature of your level + your proficiency bonus.
at level 20 you may do this once per short rest, and you may use legendary actions but not lair actions.
