Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

Brawlers are barbarians who feel as though the best way to hurt someone isn't with some fancy greatsword or giant axe, but is instead grabbing them in a chokehold before punching their lights out. They are experts in maneuvering themselves to use their enemies bodies against them; opening them up for more of a beating from the brawler. Or it's allies.

Beatdown

Starting when you choose this path at third level, your unarmed strikes can deal bludgeoning damage equal to 1d6 + your Strength modifier. If you strike with two free hands, the d6 becomes a d8. When you successfully start a grapple, you can deal 1d4 bludgeoning damage to the grappled creature. This damage increases to 1d8 at 10th level. Until the grapple ends, you can also deal with damage to the grappled creature whenever you hit it with a melee attack.

Vice Grip

Beginning at 6th level, you can now attempt to grapple creatures who are more than one size category larger than you. If you succeed on this grapple, these creatures are not subjected to the grappled condition. Instead you are able to move around inside that creatures space. While you are inside their space they have disadvantage on attack rolls against you. While grappling a creature in this way you are considered attached to them. If they use their movement while you are attached to them, you move with them. This forced movement does not provoke attacks of opportunity. Additionally the strength of your grapple has increased, making you immune to effects that would remove you from your target, such as Thunderwave. Your unarmed strikes also count as magical for the purpose of overcoming resistance and immunity to nonmagical attacks and damage.

Knockout Strike

Starting at 10th level if you hit a creature with an unarmed strike, they have disadvantage on any Strength (Athletics) or Dexterity (Acrobatics) checks until the end of your next turn.

No Escape

Beginning at 14th level, when a creature tries to escape your grapple, you can use your reaction to make an unarmed strike against that creature. This unarmed strike deals an additional 2d6 damage. Additionally you are able to channel your rage into your grip even more. You are considered one size category larger for the purpose of grappling while raging.
