Base Class: Bard
Some people are content with a normal, uneventful life. A lot of people actually wish for one, but not you. You were meant for greater things, had a higher calling, a purpose, and you're determined to find what it is. Combat training, honing your skills, weaving stronger magic by the day, it's time for you to leave your dusty town and strike out on your own.
Bonus Proficiencies
When you join the College of Heroes at 3rd level, you gain proficiency with medium armor, shields, and martial weapons.
If you’re proficient with a weapon, you can use it as a spellcasting focus for your bard spells.
Martial Arcana
At 3rd level, you've honed your magic to be more martial in nature and gain bonus spells because of it. You may learn your spells from the Bard or Paladin spell list when you gain new spells. You also learn 3 cantrips of your choice. When you cast one of these cantrips, you have advantage on constitution saving throws until your next turn.
Ancient Knowledge
At 3rd level, the training of your mind, body, and magic have led to you uncovering new ways to use your bardic inspiration.
Zephyr Strikes: As a Bonus Action you expend a bardic inspiration die and add the number rolled to the damage of each attack you make on your turn.
Parrying Stance: When you or an Ally adjacent to you is attacked you may expend a bardic inspiration die as a Reaction and add the number rolled to your or their armor class until the next round.
Iron Will: You may use your bonus action to expend a bardic inspiration die and heal yourself or one Ally within 15 feet of you for an amount equal to the number rolled + your proficiency bonus, as well as giving them advantage on the next Wisdom, Charisma, or Intelligence saving throw they make within the next minute.
Spellsword
Starting at 6th level, you can attack twice, instead of once, whenever you take the Attack action on your turn. If you hit with 1 attack or more, you may cast a cantrip as a Bonus Action.
Hero of Legend
Starting at 14th level, You may add twice your proficiency bonus to Charisma based skill checks you make. You also gain the ability to extend the benefits of your ancient knowledge techniques to an ally when you use them, a number of times equal to your constitution modifier per long rest.
