Paladin
Base Class: Paladin

Those who take up the Oath of the Grim March are those who have looked into the eyes of undeath and have seen its horror. They are the few who know of the value of death and how it is a beauty compared to the horrors that are its alternatives. These Paladins have taken up the calling to banish the dark touch of necromancy no matter what the cost, even if it means using it's enemy against it.

Additional Spells

You no longer need to eat, drink, or sleep and gain the benefits of a long rest by instead doing 8 hours of light activity. You also have resistance to Necrotic damage and for every 10 years that go by you only age 1 year but cannot die of old age.

The Face of Death

At 20th level, you have perfected using your enemy against itself. As an action, you may summon 6 Undead servants for 1 hour that follow within 5 feet of you. These servants take no actions but so long as one remains, you gain the following benefits:

- Whenever you hit a creature with a melee attack, you do an additional 1d8 Necrotic damage equal to the number of your Undead servants that still remain. The target also can't take reactions and has their movement speed halved until the start of your next turn.

- Your Channel Divinity (Runic Blade) damage die is increased to a d10 on all accounts.

- Any time you would normally get hit by an attack, you take no damage and one of your Undead servants gets hit instead and vanishes.

Once you use this feature, you can't do so again until you finish a long rest.
