Base Class: Monk
An offshoot of the renowned Way of the Open Hand, this martial art was created out of necessity. Blinded in an ambush, the founder of this style turned the Open Hand's Ki-manipulating teachings of internal use into an external focus. By channeling Ki in this way, they replaced the sight they had lost with a greater sense of self and surroundings.
Ki Sight
When you choose this tradition at 3rd level, your ki becomes an extension of your senses. You gain blindsight out to a range equal to your monk speed bonus. You have advantage on Perception checks within this space.
Resounding Strikes
You are able to use your ki to read the movements of your opponent. Whenever you hit a creature with one of the attacks granted by your Flurry of Blows, that creature has disadvantage on their attacks against you until the end of your next turn.
Focused Echo
Your mastery of ki allows you to temporarily boost the limits of your ki abilities. As an action, you can focus your ki and extend it. The new range of your Ki Sight is equal to your current Ki Sight range multiplied by your Wisdom Modifier. This extended sense lasts an hour and you can use this ability up to your Wisdom modifier.
EX: Ki Sight of 10 feet and a Wisdom Modifier of +3 = 30 feet.
Thundering Blow
Your ki explodes with thundering might. When you hit with an attack of your Flurry of Blows, you may choose to expend a ki point to deal an additional martial arts die of thunder damage. You may expend additional ki points to increase the number of damage die up to 5 ki points for a total of 5 martial arts die.
Omnipotent Ki
At 17th level, you're so in tune with the flow of ki around you, you can no longer be surprised unless incapacitated (excludes sleeping). Additionally, a creature within your Ki Sight can not benefit from stealth, and can not have advantage against you unless by magical means or incapacitated.
