Base Class: Fighter

Masterless warriors who follow only the wind and the winding road, Ronin are powerful warriors who have mastered the art of fighting with heavy weapons that require 2-hands to wield.

Iai Strike

You have learned to use the weight and momentum of your weapon to flow into a second strike. When you take the Attack action, you may use your bonus action to make a second attack with a weapon you wield in two hands.

Defensive Weapon Training

You have learned to interpose your massive weapon between yourself and incoming attacks, granting you a +1 bonus to your AC while wielding a weapon with either the 2-handed or Versatile property.

Iron Shirt Technique

You have learned to enter a meditative state during battle that allows you to tighten every muscle in your body like a suit of armor under your skin. When you use your bonus action to take a Second Wind, you also gain resistance to all bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage until the start of your next turn.

Soul Edge

You have learned to channel your spirit into your weapon, imbuing it with magical properties. You may spend a bonus action to focus your will into a weapon with the 2-handed or Versatile properties that you are holding, granting the weapon a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with the weapon. Attacks with this weapon count as magical for the purposes of overcoming damage resistance. Additionally, while under this effect, you can not be disarmed. This effect lasts for 1 minute or until you use it again on a different weapon. This feature has no effect on weapons that already have a bonus to attack or damage rolls.

At Higher Levels: The bonus to attack and damage rolls increases to +2 at 15th level and +3 at 18th level.

Hammering Blow

You have learned to place the full momentum and weight of your weapon and body into your adrenaline-filled attacks. When you use your Action Surge and take the Attack Action, you may add an extra weapon die to the damage on each of your attacks.

Perfect Slash

Through constant training, you have reached the height of perfection in your fighting style. When you miss an attack, you may immediately re-roll the attack, accepting the new outcome. You may only do this once on each of your turns.
