Base Class: Barbarian
A barbarian that follows the path of the slaughterer is a person with a clear vision of bringing endless chaos, death, destruction, ruin and glorious kills in the name of their god! Such an individual can be considered a religious fanatic: blindly following their god`s words and will to the point of the barbarian carving a path of utmost slaughter in the civilized world. A religious zealot of destruction and death, these barbarians are known as merciless raiders, warriors, warlords and tyrants in the eyes of those that view them from the outside. "I cannot do wrong in my actions against your people, weakling. The gods look upon my work and smiles. They smile at me! What do the prayers to your god do?" - Aasgarn of Bloody Hill, standing above the slain bodies of peasants and soldiers alike.
Warrior of Slaughter
Starting when you choose this path at 3rd level, you choose one of the following effects to be a determining factor in your quest for endless slaughter in the honor of your god(s).
- Scarred Body: Your body is a testament to all the battles you have won: scarred, beaten and pierced. Due to this, you instantly gain +1 to your Constitution score (maximum of 20) and gain advantage on Constitution saving throws.
- A Hulking Metal Beast: A horrible, hulking mass of slaughtering might and power! Your rage is equally bound to you as your weapons and armor. With this focus, you may use Rage even while in heavy armor. You also gain proficiency with heavy armor.
- Battle-hardened: You have seen many battles and emerged victorious time and time again. Due to this, you gain a +1 bonus to all melee weapon attacks and damage rolls. Lastly, you instantly gain 5 additional max hit points.
- Seeing Red: The heat of battle causes you to see red, craving even more death and carnage! While raging and reducing a creature to 0 hit points, you may use your reaction to instantly move up to your movement speed and make one melee weapon attack against another creature within your weapon`s range. This attack is made with advantage.
- Favored by The God(s): The god(s) smile upon you and your path of carnage! Due to this, whenever you make a melee weapon attack and it misses, you may instantly make another weapon attack against the same creature you just missed. You must use the new roll, even if it is lower than the original. You may use this a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus. You regain expanded uses after a long rest.
- Bringer of Fear: The sight of you charging forward is the stuff of nightmares! Due to this, when you enter your rage, you force all creatures in a 30 feet radius centered from you to instantly make a DC 8 (Strength ability score + proficiency bonus) Wisdom saving throw, becoming Frightened of you until the end of your next turn. A creature that succeeds the saving throw is immune to this effect for the next 24 hours.
- Warpath: Where you go, carnage and death follow. Due to this, while raging, you can as an action move forward up to half your movement speed in a straight line, striking all creatures you move pass! You make separate melee weapon attack rolls for each individual in your path, and this movement does not provoke opportunity attacks.
- Drenched in blood: Your skin is as red as your rage! While raging and hitting a creature with your melee weapon attack, you instantly heal for half your Constitution modifiers (rounded up).
- Offerings to The God(s): While not all that follows the path of slaughter, many choose to literally carve out a piece of their slain foes and offer it to their god(s). After a creature dies that you damaged, you may use an action to chop off, carve out, pull out, break off and so on, a piece of the slain creature and undergo a five minute ritual where you offer it to your god(s). Describe the assistance you seek, and roll percentile dice. If you roll a number equal to or lower than your barbarian level, your deity intervenes. The DM chooses the nature of the intervention: being it guidance to a mighty foe, answering a question, assisting in the following battle to come and so on. If your deity intervenes, you can’t use this focus again for 7 days. Otherwise, you can use it again after you finish a long rest.
At 8th and 16th level, you may choose another factor that will aid your quest.
Focused Slaughter
Beginning at 6th level while raging, you can’t be charmed or frightened, because in those brief moments of relentless slaughter, your mind is under the protection of your god(s). If you are charmed or frightened and then enter rage, the effect is suspended for the duration of the rage.
Bringer of Ruin
Beginning at 10th level, you gain upgrades to your focuses from the Warrior of Slaughter feature. The previous focuses from Warrior of Slaughter are still in effect after the upgrade.
- Molded Skin of War (Scarred Body): Your body is a reminder to all your future foes that there have been countless others that have attempted to take your life, yet here you stand. Due to this, you instantly gain +1 to your Constitution score (maximum of 20) and gain resistance to slashing, piercing and bludgeoning from nonmagical.
- War Machine (A Hulking Metal Beast): You have become the epitome of a walking war machine. Due to this, while wearing heavy armor, raging and suffering damage, you may reduce the amount of damage taken equal to half your Constitution score (minimum of 1 damage taken). You may use this a number of times equal to your Constitution modifiers (rounded up). You regain lost charges after a long rest.
- War Veteran (Battle-hardened): You have seen wars and battles of such magnitude that the gods themselves turned their heads to look upon them. You gain an additional +1 bonus to all melee weapon attacks and damage rolls. Lastly, you instantly gain 15 additional max hit points.
- Red Rivers (Seeing Red): The sound of death and carnage is too much for you to handle! While raging and reducing a creature to 0 hit points, you may use your bonus action as well as your reaction to instantly move up to your movement speed and make two melee weapon attack against another creature within your weapon`s range. This attack is made with advantage and deal an additional damage equal to half your Strength score (rounded down).
- Champion of The God(s) (Favored by The God(s)): The god(s) have elected you as their champion! Due to this, whenever you make a melee weapon attack and it misses, you may instead choose to hit. You may use this a number of times equal to half your proficiency bonus (rounded up).
- The Face of Terror (Bringer of Fear): The mere sight of you approaching forward is enough for most people to be frozen still in fear! Due to this, when you enter your rage, you force all creatures in a 30 feet radius centered from you to instantly make a DC 8 (Strength ability score + proficiency bonus) Wisdom saving throw, becoming Paralyzed of you until the end of your next turn. A creature that succeeds the saving throw is immune to this effect for the next 24 hours. If a creature succeeds on the first saving throw, they are immune to the effect that causes them to be Paralyzed, but the next time you rage before 24 hours have passed, they must make the same saving throw or be Frightened instead. Succeeding this saving throw causes the creature to be immune to both effects for the next 24 hours.
- Bloody Grounds (Warpath): Where you go, ruin and rubble remain. Due to this, while raging, and using your action to perform the Warpath, you knock all creatures you hit prone. You also make the weapon attacks with advantage.
- Drowned in blood (Drenched in blood): There is no other color than blood red! While raging and hitting a creature with your melee weapon attack, you instantly heal yourself for an additional 1d8.
- Tributes to The God(s) (Offerings to The God(s)): The answers of your god(s) are far stronger and bestows greater power to further your path of slaughter.

Starting at 14th level, you have truly gained the favor of the god(s)! You gain the following benefits:
- You cannot be reduced to 0 hit points while your rage lasts. Each successful hit against you while raging and while you are at 1 hit point will reduce the duration of your rage by one turn. If you start your turn and your rage ends, you fall unconscious. Once you unlock the possibility to endlessly rage and you suffer damage while raging, you must make a DC 8 + 3 Constitution saving throw for each time you are struck. The DC increases by +3 each time a successful hit would damage you. The DC maximum is 33. Once you fail the saving throw, you fall unconscious.
- You deal additional damage on all melee weapon attacks equal to your Strength ability modifiers (rounded up).
- You grow 2d4 + 2 inches.
- Your Strength or Constitution score increases by +1 (maximum of 20). Alternatively, you gain 20 maximum hit points.
- While raging, your melee weapon attacks ignores a creature`s resistances, but not immunities.
