Base Class: Paladin
The Oath of Adoration binds a paladin to the protection, guidance, and nurturing of other creatures. These paladins see untapped potential and great virtues in others, and swear upon their oath to keep them within his or her safekeeping. Those under the protection of paladins of this oath will generally refer to them with titles such as "Protector", "Father/Mother", "High Guard" or "Caretaker." Many who follow this oath take on a very kind, nurturing personality for those within his/her care, but can rapidly turn to a bear-like wrath when facing those who threaten them.
Channel Divinity
When you take this oath at 3rd level, you gain the following two Channel Divinity options.
Subject of Adoration. As an action, you present your holy symbol and speak a prayer of protection. Choose a creature which is friendly to you. For the duration, the target creature gains the following benefits:
- The creature immediately gains temporary hit points equal to half your Paladin level (rounded down)
- If the creature drops to 0 HP and does not die outright, it is immediately granted one successful death save.
- While moving within 5ft of you, this creature does not provoke attacks of opportunity.
This effect lasts for 10 minutes OR until the target creature dies or you use this Channel Divinity again.
Glorify Others. As an action, you present your holy symbol and speak a prayer of adoration for those who are close to you. Choose up to three creatures other than yourself within 60ft of you that you can see. Once within the next minute, those creatures can roll an additional d6 on an ability check, attack roll, or saving throw. The creature can wait until after it rolls the d20 to decide to use this die, but must do so before the DM announces the outcome.
Oath Spells
You gain oath spells at the paladin levels listed.

Restless Guardian
Starting at 7th level, when a creature within your reach makes an attack against a target other than you, you can use your reaction to make a melee weapon attack against the attacking creature.
Additionally, if a creature within 30ft of you makes an attack against your Subject of Adoration, using your reaction you can teleport to an unoccupied space next to the creature and make a melee weapon attack. If you hit with this attack, you can apply one of the following effects:
- The target must make a Strength saving throw against your spell save DC or be shoved 10ft in a direction of your choice
- The target must make a Strength saving throw against your spell save DC or be knocked prone
- Apply a Divine Smite to the attack at 1st level without expending a spell slot
Blessing of Solidarity
Beginning at 15th level, you gain temporary hit points equal to half your paladin level (rounded down). If a creature hits you with a melee attack while you have temporary hit points granted by this feature, that creature takes 10 radiant damage. After these temporary HP are lost or replaced by a temporary HP from a different spell effect or feature, you must complete a long rest to regain them.
When a creature rolls a die granted by your Glorify Others Channel Divinity, if you do not have any temporary HP remaining from this feature, you gain temporary HP equal to the amount rolled, which have the same effect as the base temporary HP granted by this feature.
Admiring Keeper
Starting at 20th level, you can assume the form of an angelic escort. Using your action, you undergo a transformation. For 1 minute, you gain the following benefits
- Wings sprout from your back and grant you a flying speed of 60ft
- Each time you use your Divine Smite feature, choose a creature friendly to you that you can see. That creature is granted temporary HP equal to the highest value rolled on one of the damage die for the smite. If the chosen creature is under the effect of your Subject of Adoration Channel Divinity, it gains temporary HP equal to the two highest values rolled on the dice.
- When a friendly creature you can see within 60ft drops to 0HP, you can use your reaction to call the creature away from harm. The target is not reduced beyond 0HP and it magically switches places with you, with neither of you provoking attacks of opportunity. After you have switched places, you gain resistance to all damage until the end of your next turn. If the chosen creature has a die granted by your Glorify Others Channel Divinity, that creature may immediately roll the die and heal for the amount rolled.
Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest.
