Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

Those who embrace The Lord of Pestilence embrace their own doom but lose the fear of their inevitable demise, disfigured by disease and mutation, their own features cause dread among others. To win the favor of The Lord of Diseases, they must please their god by infecting others with the diseases they carry. For this reason, they bear their afflictions with stoicism, in the belief that eventually their god will deliver them from suffering. Followers of this god often band together, and there are many cults of pestilence within the world, meeting secretly in filthy places to praise their god and plot how to spread his pestilences. Some are well-established, recruiting new members from among the sick and desperate – those who yearn to cling to life by any means necessary. Others flourish only briefly before being eradicated by the diseases they foster – a sign to some that they have failed their god, but to others that they have pleased him, and he has taken their souls to his domain where they can serve forever as his minions of decay.

Horrid Mutations

Starting when you choose this path at 3rd level, you choose one of the following mutations to be a permanent effect.

- Pus Spew: Your body is a twisted and horrible container of pus! While raging, your body spews forth foul-smelling and poisonous pus for the duration of your rage. All creatures within 5 feet of you must at the start of their turn make a DC 8(+ your Constitution modifier + proficiency bonus) Constitution saving throw, suffering 1d8 poison damage. Succeeding the saving throw causes only half damage. At 10th level, the damage dice increases by 1d8 and failing the saving throw causes the creature(s) to be poisoned until the end of their next turn.

- Acidic Blood: Your blood has become so volatile and deadly that it acts as acid! When a creature strikes you with a melee weapon within 5 feet of you, then instantly suffer your Constitution modifier as Acid damage. At 10th level, the damage increases to double your Constitution modifier.

- Bloated Skin: The skin you once had have turned into a bloated, fetid and infested hive. Due to this when you rage, you instantly gain double your Constitution modifier + level temp. hit points. You may only benefit from this once per long rest. Passively, you go up 20lbs in weight due to the sagging and fetid flesh. At 10th level, you go up another 10lbs in weight and you gain the temp. hit point benefit each time you rage, but only after the temp. hit points have been depilated. Raging while still having temp. hit point does not refresh the temp. hit points.

- Poison Spray: You have gained the ability to spew forth poison from your pus-covered hands. You learn the Poison Spray cantrip. You may use this cantrip instead of a weapon attack. At 10th level, Poison Spray targets another creature that is within 5 feet of the original target.

- Mutated Resistance: The god of pestilence have granted you a natural resistance against what you bring others! You gain resistance to Poison damage and gain advantage on Constitution saving throws against effects that cause poison damage and the poisoned effect. At 10th level, you gain immunity to both Poison damage and the Poisoned effect.

- Gift of The God of Pestilence: You are able to infuse your weapon with the great gifts of The God of Pestilence! As a bonus action, you infuse one of your weapons with either Poison, Acid or Necrotic damage. The damage dice for all the damage types are 1d6. When you do this, you suffer 1d6 damage that cannot be resisted. The effect lasts for 1 minute. The damage does not count as magical. At 10th level, the damage dice increases by 1d6, as well as damage taken.

- Noxious Gas: A thick cloud of noxious gas emerges from your struck down body! When you are knocked unconscious, all creatures in a 10 feet radius centered from you must make a DC 8 (+Constitution modifiers + proficiency bonus) Constitution saving throw, suffering 2d12 + half your Constitution score (rounded down) Poison, Acid or Necrotic damage (player`s choice). At 10th level, the radius increases to 15 feet and the damage increases to 5d12.

- Path of Filth: Where you walk, deadly diseases and filth drop from your fetid skin! While raging, you leave behind a foul-smelling puddle of pus and filth in a 5 feet square. Creatures that starts their turn or walk into the puddle must make a DC 8 (+ Constitution modifiers + proficiency bonus) Constitution saving throw, suffering 1d6 Poison damage. The puddles last for 1 minute, but can be washed away. At 10th level, the damage dice increases to a d8 and the damage is increased to 3d8.

At 6th, 11th and 16th level, you may choose another mutation.

Blessing of The Lord of Pestilence

Beginning at 6th level, you are immune to normal and magical diseases. When you are subjected to a disease, you instead absorb it. You can absorb a number of diseases equal to your Constitution modifier (minimum of 1). As an action, you can expunge one of the stored diseases and attempt to infect creatures within 30 feet of you, forcing them to make a DC 8 (+Constitution modifier + proficiency bonus) Constitution saving throw, gaining the disease. Succeeding the saving throw causes the disease to fail.

At 14th level, you no longer expunge the disease. You can change out one disease for another if subjected to one.

Absorption

Beginning at 10th level, you can as a reaction choose to take half the damage you normally would. This lasts until the start of your next turn. You can use this feature a number of times equal to half your Constitution modifier (rounded down). You regain expended uses after a long rest.

Lastly, your fetid flesh has turned into a natural hardened shell of horrid skin, guts and pus boils. You gain +1 to you AC and gain your proficiency bonus + half your Constitution score (rounded down) as max hit points.

- You gain the ability to cast Inflict Wound, Ray of Sickness, Blight and Contagion as 5th level spells. You may caste these spells as if you had four 5th level spell slots before you need a long rest. You casting ability is Constitution and your DC is 8 + Constitution modifier + proficiency bonus.

- Your Constitution score is set to 20 (unless your Constitutions score is higher).

- You gain resistance against piercing, slashing and bludgeoning from nonmagical attacks.

- You naturally take you Constitution modifier reduced damage from all sources (minimum of 1 damage taken).
