Wizard
Base Class: Wizard

The practices of Onmyoudou gather both fear and respect from their benefactors, allowing them powerful defenses against supernatural threats, and even in some cases, insights into the future without aid from the gods. Onmyouji, practitioners of Onmyoudou, not only fortify their own mental defenses against external threats, but also deepen the relationships with their familiars in their fight against the supernatural.

The layman might mistake the onmyouji for priests or occultists, and while they certainly deal with the divine and the occult, the onmyouji is a dedicated practitioner of the arcane that incorporate divine principles into their studies. Due to their familiarity with exorcism and purification, the Imperial court they serve recognize them as official court wizards. Licensed onmyouji that do not directly serve the court often accompany emissaries and diplomats in their journeys, or serve in the houses of nobles of all ranks. Others yet are emissaries themselves, using their powers of exorcism to build fruitful relationships between the far eastern lands from which they come and the foreign courts they find themselves in.
