Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

The pain seeker lives for pain. In combat, they wear no armor, so as to be injured more, and they sacrifice their own vitality to empower their attacks. Each strike against them is ecstasy. They are widely feared, for they seem insane in combat, and rush towards the blades of the enemy with an almost divine fervor, and so a pain seeker in a party can unnerve those they come into contact with.

Blood Sacrifice

The spilling of your blood only makes you stronger, and you even purposefully injure yourself to that cause. As an action, you may injure yourself with a weapon you have equipped, losing hit points equal to your level. For the next minute, your attacks deal additional damage equal to your level, maximum of 10 extra damage. This feature can be used once per short or long rest.

Well of Vitality

You limited access to a well of life. Whenever you use your blood sacrifice feature, you may use the hit points from the well instead of your own. In addition, when you take a short rest and decide to spent hit dice, you may draw energy from the well, recovering additional hit points equal to the amount used from the well. This healing ignores your double edge feature. The well has hit points in it equal to your level times two and replenishes itself after you finish a long rest.

Double Edge

To you, pain is ecstasy, and so sometimes you push yourself too far. You have immunity to any effect that relies on pain. In addition, whenever you would recover hit points, you reduce the amount recovered by 1 + your hit point maximum divided by 10.

Maw of Madness

You unnerve your enemies with your love for the pain they inflict on you, and those that look in your eyes are grasped by the same blood fervor. You have advantage on Charisma (Intimidation) checks while missing hit points at least equal to half your level (rounded down). Whenever a creature you can see within 30 ft. deals at least 5 damage to you at once, that creature must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw with DC equal to 10 + your proficiency bonus. On a failed save, that creature is frightened of you until the end of its next turn and possessed by bloodlust. On its next turn, the only action it can take is the attack action, which it must take before moving, and it must target a random creature within 5 ft. If there are no other creatures within 5 ft., it must target itself.

Painful Thanks

You are indebted to those who cause you pain, and you repay this debt in kind. Whenever a creature deals damage to you, that creature is marked once by you. Marks can stack up to three times. Whenever you attack a creature marked by you, expend all marks you have on that creature, dealing an additional 1d4 psychic damage for each mark expended.

Unarmored

You lose all proficiencies that you have with armor and can't wear armor.
