A Witchhunter is a person who pledges their life to getting rid of all magic, using magic. Fighting fire with fire, these highly skilled marksmen, weapon fighters and spellcasters are formidable opponents to any magic user... or non-magic user alike. These people originate from the Order Of Witchhunters, an ancient group of shadowy figures, who would be whispered about in tongues after a town wizard or spellcasting warmonger suddenly vanished off the face of Toril. This order vanished over 9,000 years ago, but not completely, as all those who pledge themselves as a Witchhunter do so because they have roots connecting to the original order, through ancestry. 

Witchhunter's Fortitude

Starting at 3rd level, once hit with a hostile spell, you can roll a DC 8 Constitution Save, taking no damage and/or not being affected at all on a success, failing the roll means you instantly fail and are affected by the spell.

You may not use this feature again until you finish a long rest.

Magical Defenses

Starting at 7th level, after finishing a long rest, you may choose 2 magical damage types (choices: acid, cold, fire, force, lightning, necrotic, poison, psychic, radiant and thunder)

You gain resistance to these damage types until you complete another long rest, and get to choose again.

Witchhunter's Choice

At 11th level, you gain one of the following features of your choice.

Anti-Magic Field

You can use your action to make a force field (20 ft. sphere) of anti-magic energy. Any enemy attempting to use any form of magic while in this sphere must succeed on a DC 15 Constitution Save, or the spell will fail.

You cannot use this feature again until you complete a long rest.

Magically Enhanced Attack

You can use your action to make a melee attack against any enemy within your melee range, if the attack hits, you deal an additional 1d12 damage.

You may not use this feature again until you complete a short rest. 

Witchhunter's Immunity

At 15th level, You choose 1 magical damage type (choices: acid, cold, fire, force, lightning, necrotic, poison, psychic, radiant and thunder) and permanently gain immunity to it.
