Rogue
Base Class: Rogue

Shadow Reapers are mortals that have come very near death, close enough that they met an extraplanar deity of death. Some rituals can bring a mortal to that near-death state. And in some extremely rare cases, these deities will reach out and grant these powers to a mortal, along with a task to complete. More often than not the mortals, that have these sorts of encounters, forget all about them when they return to the land of the living. Shadow Reapers aren't undead, but the more they develop their powers the more they start to resemble them. They have a powerful compulsion to carry out the will of the deity they came into contact with, meaning they follow that deity's alignment and views on the cycle of life and death. Nearly all Shadow Reapers are of a lawful alignment, and more precisely lawful neutral, they are nearly never of a chaotic alignment. Personality-wise they are the silent type that keeps their distance, not overly emotional and often speaks in a complete monotone. The only change to their outward appearance that occurs is that their skin becomes the palest tone of their current skin color that is possible. Another change that occurs is that they are always cold to the touch. Most Shadow Reapers struggle to maintain their personality and sense of self and not become a puppet to their deity.
