Base Class: Barbarian
Some Barbarians work alone. Others seek a to fulfill their role in a group of skilled hunters or adventurers. For them, creating openings and opportunities for others is just as important as raw strength.
Hamstring
Starting at 3rd level, you can target a devastating blow at a creature's legs. When you hit a creature while attacking recklessly (a la the Reckless Attack Barbarian class feature) while raging: the creature makes a Strength saving throw. The DC is equal to (8 + your Strength modifier + your Proficiency bonus). On a failed save, the creature's walking, climbing and burrowing speeds are halved until it regains hit points.
Sunder
Starting at 6th level, you can channel your rage to strike your opponents' equipment. When you hit a creature while attacking recklessly (a la the Reckless Attack Barbarian class feature) while raging: rather than dealing damage you can choose to Sunder a target's nonmagical equipment. The creature makes a Dexterity saving throw. The DC is equal to (8 + your Strength modifier + your Proficiency bonus). On a failed save, the creature's equipment suffers from the following effect(s), depending on the type of equipment targeted:
- Weapon (including breakable natural weapons like claws): Until the weapon is mended, attacks made with it have disadvantage.
- Armor (including natural armor like scales): Until the armor is mended, attacks against the target have advantage.
Broadside
Starting at 10th level, you can strike a target with the broad side of your weapon. When you hit a creature while attacking recklessly (a la the Reckless Attack Barbarian class feature) while raging: rather than dealing damage you can choose to Incapacitate a target. The creature makes a Constitution saving throw. The DC is equal to (8 + your Strength modifier + your Proficiency bonus). On a failed saved, the creature is Incapacitated until the end of your next turn.
Addling Sunder
Beginning at 14th level, you can Sunder both non-magical and magical equipment. Sundering magical equipment suppresses its effects, in addition to suffering from the effects of Sunder. You may target any visible equipment held by a creature.
