Vile Blessing

When you choose this domain at 1st level, what others call poison and illness you take as gifts and blessings. You gain the Poison Spray cantrip, resist Poison damage and while you are not immune to the Poisoned condition you do ignore the disadvantage on attacks and ability checks effects; however any special effects inflicted by being Poisoned such as a Carrion Crawler's paralyzing poison or a Drow's sleeping poison will still affect you.

Channel Divinity: Pneumonic Profusion

At 2nd level you brandish your holy symbol and call upon your deity to use your body to spread their gift. As an Action cause the latent diseases/viruses in your body to flare up. You become Poisoned and noxious fumes pour from your mouth, every creature 30 feet around you must make a Constitution saving throw. A creature takes poison damage equal to 3d8 + your cleric level and becomes Poisoned on a failed saving throw, half as much damage and not poisoned on a successful one. Creatures with resistance to poison damage do not resist this damage, creatures immune to poison damage are not immune but take damage as if they resisted it and creatures immune to the Poisoned condition are not immune in this instance, though they have advantage on the save.

Channel Divinity: Leper's Lenience

At 6th level you wield your holy symbol when an ally within 30 feet of you takes poison or necrotic damage. You can use your reaction, while also using your Channel Divinity, to convert that damage; so rather than taking damage your target instead heals for half of the amount.

Potent Spellcasting

Starting at 8th level, you add your Wisdom modifier to the damage you deal with any cleric cantrip.

Pneumonic Opulence

At 17th level your ability to spread your gods will becomes even more deadly. After you use your Channel Divinity: Pneumonic Profusion you gain the following benefits for as long as you are Poisoned:

  • When you are Poisoned its effects are reversed; so rather than disadvantage, attack rolls and ability checks have advantage. However the Poisoned condition only lasts half as long.
  • Creatures Poisoned by Pneumonic Profusion now have a negative modifier, equal to your Wisdom modifier, to their attack rolls and ability checks and take Wisdom modifier poison damage at the start of each of their turns. Creatures poisoned in this way cannot make saves against the poison until they move 10 feet away from you.
  • When you use your Channel Divinity: Leper's Lenience your target instead heals for the full amount.
