Base Class: Rogue
How did a pitcher from earth show up in a fantasy world? Don't worry about it. Just look at that fastball and be amazed.
Honed Physique
When you choose this archetype at 3rd level, you gain proficiency in the Athletics and Acrobatics skills if you don’t already have it. You have advantage on skill checks involving your chosen sport.
Chin Music
Starting at 3rd level, you can weaponize your pitching skill. When using a baseball as a thrown weapon, you can roll a d6 in place of the normal damage of your improvised weapon attack. The range of the attack is 60/100.
A Pitchers Toolbox
Starting at 3rd level you can throw varying kinds of pitches. Before you make an attack with a baseball you can choose to add one of the following benefits:
- Fastball: Add your Strength modifier to the damage roll.
- Curveball: Add your Strength modifier to the attack roll.
Fantasy Baseball
Starting at 9th level, your baseball attacks count as magical for the purpose of overcoming resistance and immunity to nonmagical attacks and damage.
Fast Break
Starting at 13th level, you can use your athletic prowess to get a drop on your enemies. When rolling for initiative at the beginning of combat, you can use your athletics skill in place of your initiative modifier.
Switch Pitcher
Starting at 17th level, you have mastered the ambidextrous art of switch pitching. If you take the attack action on your turn, you can make one additional attack as a bonus action. This attack can benefit from your Sneak Attack even if you have already used it this turn, but you can’t use your Sneak Attack against the same target more than once in a turn.
