Bard
Base Class: Bard

The college of Brutes produces the most intriguing type of bard, they focus less on the finesse and beautiful harmony of the music they play, thrashing and clanging their instruments in a most violent and aggressive manor they produce a noise which appears offensive to the ears of those that displease them. Its an inspiring sight to see the Brutish bard to beat a patron that dares interrupt or boo their performances, it is widely heard of people leaving performances from brute bards bloody and injured but oddly satisfied with what they have heard.

Often found within the grungiest bars and criminal filled locals the bards from the college of brutes find themselves at home in places where law does not roam in heavy presence. Shunned by many other colleges for their tendencies to use their Musical instruments in a manor deemed unfit of a bards typical use. Brutes will often welcome the idea of traveling along with many adventurers as it brings them many chances to display their full prowess of musical power, usually they will hold back in bars for risk of permanently disabling their fans.

Tavern Lover

Starting at Level 3, As a college of the brute bard you are used to being and playing in the roughest Taverns around, being used to the rough housing and usually starting it you gain the Tavern Brawler Feat. You are such a refined gentleman when it comes to downing copious amounts of alcohol that you gain advantage on Constitution saving throws whilst having drunk alcohol in the 30 minutes.

Reinforced Instrument

At level 3, You have had many experiences with breaking your favorite instruments, usually off the heads off angry "fans", With that in mind you can take your time as a bonus action to reinforce your favorite instrument of destruction. You may make an attack with your instrument if it is reinforced to do 1d10 + Charisma Modifier + proficiency as it twangs off the heads off your target, you must make a Performance check to see if you make sweet music with their heads and keep your weapon reinforced, On a failed check your weapon loses its reinforced status.

The damage of your reinforced weapon increases by an extra 1D10 at level 6, level 14 and level 20

Nightmarish Musical Performance

At level 6, You begin mastering the beautiful craft of offending the ears of people that boo your performances. Upon making a successful performance check you can cast Level 3 Spell Fear as a action without using a spell slot, You may use this a number of times equal to your Proficiency level. You must take a long rest To regain your uses.

Your allies are not affected by your Nightmarish Musical Performance, they have become attuned to how you play and know not to take offense, as such one ally in the cone of fear may take an inspiration as they know it means only good tidings for your group to hear the sound being played.

"Friendly" Assistance

Starting at level 14, You form a bond with your allies through the mutual love of your music, anyone that would attack your allies whilst within 10ft of you must face your wrath. You unleash "Otto's Irresistible Dance" spell upon them as a Reaction, forcing them to listen to your beautiful music. You can use this feature twice, You can't use the feature again until finishing a short/long rest. Anyone caught attacking a ally that is within your melee range can be mercilessly beaten with your Reinforced instrument as a reaction, they take 4d10 + Charisma Modifier + proficiency Blunt damage as you thrash them. This Feature can be used as long as your Reinforced Instrument maintains intact.

Final Performance

Starting at level 14, You may make one epic hate filled performance that rocks all that get in your way. As you make the best performance of your life... so far, Anyone in a 40ft radius around you must make a charisma saving throw in an attempt to ignore the sound, On a failed saving throw the target takes 12d10 + Bard Level Psychic damage and is deafened for a round, upon a successful save the damage is halved and they resist being deafened. Unfortunately this breaks your Musical instrument beyond repair, gives you one level of exhaustion and you suffer 1d8 piercing damage from the exploding instrument. Once you use this feature you cannot use it again until you take a Short or long rest and replace your instrument.
