Masters at arms harness an ancient power, said to be associated with a line of lost kings. They form magic links with various weapons, and have mastered the art of switching between them at a moment's notice.

Ioun-Hilt Weapons

Starting at 3rd level, you gain the ability to imbue your weapons’ hilts with the same sort of magic that makes Ioun stones float. You can do this with a number of weapons equal to your Proficiency bonus. As a bonus action at the beginning of combat, you can activate this enchantment on all weapons that it applies to.

Weapons affected by this enchantment float around you in combat after the enchantment is activated, lose the loading property if they have it, and take no action to draw or stow. Additionally, weapons with this enchantment can be called to you if taken, as long as there is a path for them to travel through. If a creature is holding the weapon when you do this, they must make a Strength saving throw (DC 8+ Proficiency bonus+ Wisdom modifier). This enchantment can be applied to magical weapons.

Requip

Starting at 7th level, you gain a +1 bonus to damage for each consecutive successful hit with a new weapon pulled from your Ioun-hilt Weapons ability. For example, if you successfully hit with one weapon, your next weapon attack- as long as it is a different weapon- would deal one extra point of damage, and if you were to switch again, and hit again, the next attack would deal two extra points of damage, and so forth. This bonus resets at the end of each round.

Blade Storm

Starting at 10th level, while your Ioun-hilt weapons are active, you can cast sword burst either as a normal action, or as an opportunity attack.

Additionally, if a creature tries to take one of your Ioun-hilt weapons while they are active, the creature must make a Dexterity saving throw or take force damage equal to the damage die of the weapon they attempted to take.

Spectral Hurricane

Starting at 15th level, you can cast animate objects as a fifth level spell once per short rest, targeting spectral blades that you conjure based on your own Ioun-hilt weapons. When you cast animate objects in this way, you cannot use the stats for large or huge items.

Armiger

Starting at 18th level, your weapon attacks score a critical hit on a roll of 19 or 20, and when you use Requip, the bonus granted to your damage is also applied to your attack. Additionally, all creatures that end their turn within 5 feet of you take your Requip bonus damage when you hit with an attack, instead of the bonus only being applied to your target.
