Base Class: Monk
Monks of the Way of the Bloodied Fist follow a tradition that teaches them to control their own life force, as well as the life force of others. They exert this control through the manipulation of blood, giving them a physical tie to the energy they manipulate. Monks of this tradition are nearly always covered in scars and possibly dried blood, depending on how recently they’ve fought.
Cleansed by Blood
Starting at 3rd level, all melee damage you deal becomes slashing. Additionally, when you take damage, you have advantage on your next attack.
Toll of the Mystic
At 6th level, you gain the ability to convert your life force into ki. As a bonus action on your turn, you can convert your hit points into ki points, spending 4 hit points per ki point restored. You can spend a maximum of 12 hit points at any one time, gaining 3 ki points if you do. If this would send you to 0 HP, you instead fall unconscious, but are stable.
Transfusion
Starting at 11th level, when you score a critical hit or reduce a creature to 0 HP with a melee attack, you regain 1d6 HP.
Blood Invasion
At 17th level, you can take complete control over a creature’s body by manipulating its ki through the mixing of your blood and its blood. When you hit a creature with an unarmed strike, you can spend 3 ki points to attempt to take control of that creature. The creature must succeed on a Constitution saving throw or fall under your control.
On every subsequent turn after assuming control, you must use your action to take total and precise control of the target. Until the end of your next turn, the creature takes only the actions you choose, and doesn’t do anything you don’t allow it to do. During this time, you can also spend your reaction to force them to use theirs. If you do not take your action to continue this feature, the effect ends prematurely.
