Warlock
Base Class: Warlock

Trapped away for millenia, Ovesta waits to be released from his prison of being confined to one object. Upon touching, or opening, his sealed object, Travelers are captured and forced to sign their soul to him or be haunted and tortured. If Ovesta is unsatisfied with his slaves, he will begin to ruin the person's life and drive them mad. If the warlock is unable to fulfill his demands, his family becomes cursed and born into his service.

In this form you have advantage on all attack rolls and against spells and you gain darkvision for 30 feet (If you previously had darkvision, 30 feet is added on to whatever it was before). To exit this form, you must make a DC 10 + however many minutes you've been in this form Wisdom saving throw and the DC caps out at 18. If you are in this state for more than 4 minutes, you enter a crazed state. Whenever you make an attack in this state, you must make a Wisdom saving throw with a DC equal to the escape DC -3.

Demonic Gaze

Starting at 6th level, when entering your shadow form you may choose to use this ability once per entering the form. When doing so, you may choose a target. The target must make a wisdom saving throw equal to your spell save DC. On a failed save, they take d10 times your warlock level (maxing out at 12) and become paralyzed. On a successful save, they only take d10 times your charisma modifier divided by two (round down) and become frightened.

Dark Composure

Starting at 10th level, when you come into contact with another creature in your shadow form, they take 3d10 necrotic damage and must make a dexterity saving throw (equal to your spell save DC) or become petrified.
