Sorcerer
Base Class: Sorcerer

You are descendant from a foul creature, and its blood wreaks havoc in your family tree. Those in your House are rarely and seemingly at random born hideous, and with terrifying powers  and as such, generation after generation has committed infanticide on the abominations. You are one such monster, cursed at birth yet spared the knife by your mother, free to live out your miserable span of existence a freak divorced from society. Yet your power grows, as fearsome as your aspect and as dreadful as your glare.

Extra-Dimensional Sense

Starting at 1st level, you gain an additional sensory organ, which can look like any sensory organ you already have (such as an extra nose or a third eye). This sensory organ is used for detecting auras and aberrations within 60 ft of yourself, granting you advantage on insight checks and allowing you to detect aberrations as if using the Paladin’s Divine Sense. Additionally, you can speak, read, and write undercommon, and when you make a Charisma check while interacting with aberrations, your proficiency bonus is doubled if it applies to the check.

Abberant Anatomy

Starting at 1st level, your biology is a bit… off. Your joints are softer than normal, granting you advantage on acrobatics checks made to escape grapple checks, and you are naturally acclimated to extreme climates, both cold and hot.

Abberant Adaptation

Starting at 6th level, you are able to gain one supernatural power of your choice from an aberrant creature of a CR 1/3 your level or lower. You can use this power for one minute at a time, once per short rest. You may recharge this ability early by spending two sorcery points.

Dark Acceptance

Starting at 18th level, you gain a hover speed equal to your base walking speed. When you use Aberrant Adaptation, you may pick all of the supernatural features of a creature, instead of one. Additionally, you gain Psychic immunity, as well as resistance to nonmagical piercing, slashing, and bludgeoning, and when you speak, you can choose to do so telepathically.

Binding Tentacles

Starting at 14th level, you gain the ability to retaliate when hit. When you are hit with a melee attack, you can lash back at the attacker, dealing Force damage equal to your level if you hit. The creature must make a Strength saving throw, becoming rooted on a failed save. A creature rooted in this way is restrained, and cannot make opportunity attacks.
