Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

Restriction: Dragonborn Only

Only Dragonborn may take the Path of the Dragon Heart. Those who are descended from dragons are the only ones able to emulate them. Additionally, the Path of the Dragon Heart affects a Dragonborn's Breath Weapon, making it the only race able to achieve the full power of the subclass.

Focused Mind and Steeled Scales

When a dragon fights, they are as ferocious as a typhoon, yet as calm as the moon that guides the seas it churns. They fight where they are most useful, and focus solely on their enemies.

At 3rd level, whenever you enter a rage, you gain a +1 bonus to AC, and you may choose a creature you can see within 30 feet and target it. The first time you hit this creature with a melee attack, you deal extra damage equal to your CON modifier. The targeted creature also has disadvantage on saving throws against your breath weapon. You may change your target as a bonus action, or when your original target is killed (no action required).

Potent Breath and Crushing Bite

A dragon who cannot wield his breath and his teeth is but a welp with a wooden sword. He is ripe for defeat, and his loss should only be used as an example.

At 6th level, while you are raging, your breath's range increases by 10 feet, and the damage die increases from d6 to d8.  You may now use your breath weapon a number of times equal to your CON modifier before replenishing them with a short or long rest. Additionally, you may use your bonus action to make a bite attack against a target within 5 feet of you. The attack deals 1d8 + STR modifier piercing damage.

Commanding Voice and Mighty Roar

A dragon's roar must bring fear to his enemies, and courage to his allies.

At 10th level, while raging, you may use your action to roar with enough power to deter your enemies and inspire your allies. All allies within 30 feet of you immediately gain temporary hit points equal to 2 x your barbarian level. All enemies must suceed on a Wisdom saving throw or be frightened of you until the start of your next turn. The DC for this save is equal to 8 + STR modifier + proficiency bonus. You may use this feature twice between long rests.

Master of Mobility and Self

Lastly, a dragon must be adept at changing how it moves. Not all battles take place on the ground, and one must be ready to change as the need arises. Also, a dragon must be prepared to fight other dragons, and must have measures to survive.

At 14th level, at the end of every long rest, you may choose one type of movement you do not already possess: flying, climbing, burrowing, and swimming. You gain this movement, the speed of which is equal to your movement speed. This additional type movement lasts until your next long rest. Also, you gain immunity to the element type associated with your dragon heritage.
