Base Class: Bard
The College of Flagbearing commands the battlefield in many different ways. They aid their friends and help win any battle.
Flagbearer
When you join the College of Flagbearing at 3rd level, you gain a magical banner. If your banner is destroyed, you may spend 1 hour and consume 100 gp in materials to create another. You may only have 1 Banner at a time. If you would have more than one banner, the oldest one is destroyed.
It has 12 AC and 20 hp. It's size is that of a spear, and has resistance to the damage from spells. A Banner cannot be used unless it is in at least one of your hands. It can be used as an instrument, and also acts as a Bardic Focus. An active Banner ceases to have any effects if it leaves your hands at the end of your turn.
As an action, you may fly your banner using one of the following options. You may expend one use of your bardic inspiration to double the current bonus of your Banner for a number of rounds equal to twice your charisma modifier. This effect cannot stack, and is lost if you change options.
Charge (Full Mast)
Other friendly creatures that can see your banner within 30ft gain +2 bonus to damage rolls.
Press the Attack (Three-Quarters Mast)
Other friendly creatures that can see your banner within 30 ft gain a +1 bonus to attack rolls.
Quick Stitching
When you join the College of Flagbearing at 3rd level, you gain proficiency in the Medicine skill.
Also, whenever you roll initiative, you and your allies within 30 ft of your banner gain temporary hit points equal to your charisma modifier. Temporary hit points do not stack.
Beacon of War
At 6th level, you gain the following new options for your Banner.
Hold the Line (Half Mast)
Other friendly creatures that can see you within 30 ft gain +1 AC.
Retreat (One-Quarter Mast)
Other friendly creatures that can see you within 30 ft have an extra 10 ft of movement.
In addition, flying your Banner now only costs a bonus action.
Final Stand
Starting at 14th level, whenever your Banner is destroyed, you can gain the benefit one of it's abilities for a number of rounds equal to your level in this class. If your Banner was destroyed by a hostile creature, you instead gain the benefit of all it's abilities for the duration. You may still expend one use of your Bardic Inspiration to double the effects, but they only last for a number of rounds equal to your charisma modifier.
In addition, allies do not need to be able to see your banner to gain its benefits.
