Base Class: Barbarian
This is the path of the barbarians who by pure rage can dominate the magical web. Their body is infused with magic, and they feed on the variations in the equilibrium of magic around them, absorbing them to empower their rage. Barbarians who go down this path are no more knowledgeable than others about the arcane arts, as they do not study them, but instinctively connect to them.
Arcane Frenzy
Starting when you choose this path at 3rd level, your rage is so potent that it absorbs variations in the arcane web. While you’re raging, you are resistant to all damage from spells, as magic can’t reach you as easily as usual. Furthermore, your rage makes you more resilient to magical effects; you can add your rage damage bonus to any saving throw against a spell in which you are not already proficient
Magical Empowerment
You absorb energy from the magic weave itself. Your attacks are now considered magical for the purpose of overcoming magical resistance. Furthermore, your bond to the weave strengthens your mind; you become proficient in a saving throw of your choice (choose between Intelligence, Wisdom or Charisma).
Charisma Proficiency
You become proficient in Charisma saving throws.
Intelligence Proficiency
You become proficient in Intelligence saving throws.
Wisdom Proficiency
You become proficient in Wisdom saving throws.
Spell Rejuvenation
You can sense activity in the magic weave, and absorb its energy to fuel your rage. If a spell of 1st level or higher is casted within 60 feet of you and you can see the casting of it, you can use your reaction to move up to your walking speed and make one melee weapon attack, adding the spell’s level to your damage roll if you hit. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your constitution modifier per long rest.
Magical Immunity
At 14th level, you are capable of ignore even the most powerful effects against you. Any time you are targeted by a magic missile spell, a line spell, or a spell that requires an attack roll, roll a d6. On a 4 or 5, you are unaffected by the spell. On a 6, you are unaffected, and the effect is reflected back at the caster as though it originated from you, turning the caster into the target. Any other targets beside you suffer the effects of the spell as normal.
