Path of Brutality

Some barbarians draw on animal spirits, the power of there gods, or elemental fury. But there are some barbarians who only know physical might. These barbarians strike with a fury unknown to the others. Pulling their rage from the well of their own spirit and body, these barbarians don't fight for ancestors or honor. They fight to quell the beast of anger that resides within, hammering their foes with brute force and standing up to the toughest punishments. 

 

 

Brutal Blows

Starting at 3rd level, when you rage, you are able to strike with the force of a creature twice your size. While raging: 

• You count as one size larger when determining your carrying capacity and the weight you can push, drag, or lift.
• You can add 1d4 to the damage rolls of attacks that rely on strength. 

 The additional damage die increases in size by one category at levels 6, 10, and 14. using the following scale 1d4->1d6->1d8->1d10.

Vitality

Your body is so focused on delivering pain, that you gain strength from damaging your foes and you can shrug off assaults.

• While raging, once per turn when you deal damage from the Brutal Blows feature, you can gain temporary hit points equal to the bonus damage plus your constitution modifier. 
• When you are forced to make a saving throw, you can add a roll of your Brutal Blow dice to the saving throw. You can do this a number of times equal to your constitution modifier. All uses reset on on a short or long rest.

Momentous Charge

Beginning at 10th level, you learn to charge your foes to a devastating effect. 

• You can use a bonus action to dash as long as you take the attack action at the end of the dash.
• If your first attack hits after making this charge, you can add 1 damage die of the weapons damage type to the damage roll. If either of the dice roll maximum damage on this attack, you can roll one of the weapons damage dice one additional time.

Brutality

Starting at 14th level, your strikes are savage enough to destroy your enemies. 

• Once per turn, when you deal damage, you can add half your barbarian level to the damage.
