Blood Hunter
Base Class: Blood Hunter

Using your magic, you create a terrifying visage, marked by the ability to cry tears of blood. Using these abilities, you master the art of blood magic through methods of fear and control. You harness your own magic and use it to afflict others, eventually becoming powerful enough to use other people to your advantage.

Bloodshot Visage

At 3rd level when you join this Order you learn the blood curse, Blood Curse of Devil's Eyes (detailed below).

Blood Curse of Devil's Eyes. Your eyes start to bleed, creating a frightening visage to those within eyesight. Whenever a creature within 30 feet of you is damaged and is not blinded, you can use your reaction to have them make a wisdom saving throw or take psychic damage equal to your hemocraft damage die on a fail, and half damage on a success. This damage is doubled if the enemy is frightened.

Amplify. This curse deals additional psychic damage equal to your Intelligence modifier.

Horrid Weeping

At 3rd level, when you join the Order of the Crimson Tear, you are able to cause blood to drip from your eyes, scaring even the toughest of foes with a glance.

Due to your unsettling visage, you have proficiency in Intimidation, and your proficiency bonus for any intimidation check is doubled.

Blood Mark

Starting at 7th level, you take damage, spreading your blood to your enemies as a way of tracking them via your brand.

When you use Blood Mark, you can now use your brand to inflict disadvantage on any marked enemy as a reaction once per short rest as you see them coming.

Curse of the Bleeding Puppet

At 11th level, you can take control of a branded enemy for a short period of time.

When you damage a creature branded by you with Crimson Rite damage, it will have to make an INT saving throw against your DC. On a fail, it will target one of your enemies for its next attack and being frightened will not count against it. This effect can only happen once per short rest.

Bloodbend

Beginning at 15th level, once per long rest, if you drop to 0 hit points with a damaged enemy or companion within 30 ft of you, spilled blood will flow back into your body and you will instead drop to 1 hit point. You can then use this ability to cast False Life at 5th level as a reaction.

Weeping Commune

At 18th level, you have reached mastery of blood magic and are able to control those around you to do your will.

On your turn, you can afflict enemies around you in a 5ft radius with a curse that makes them bleed profusely. Each enemy within melee range has to make a DEX saving throw greater than your casting DC. On a fail, they take 4d8 psychic damage and are blinded as they start bleeding profusely from their eyes. On a save, they take half damage and are not blinded.
