Base Class: Barbarian
Usually the spiritual leaders of their tribes, Rage Shamans stalk the wild, channeling the fury of nature both with their weapons and their spells to destroy their enemies and overcome any challenge.
Equally effective at combat as they are at casting, the more practiced a Rage Shaman becomes, the easier it is for them to use the power of their spells during their rage.
Spellcasting
When you reach 3rd level, you augment your combat might with the ability to cast spells. See chapter 10 for the general rules of spellcasting and chapter 11 for the druid spell list.
Cantrips. You learn two cantrips of your choice from the druid spell list. You learn an additional druid cantrip of your choice at 10th level.
Spell Slots. The Rage Shaman Spellcasting table shows how many spell slots you have to cast your spells of 1st level and higher. To cast one of these spells, you must expend a slot of the spell’s level or higher. You regain all expended spell slots when you finish a long rest.
For example, if you know the 1st-level spell jump and have a 1st-level and a 2nd-level spell slot available, you can cast jump using either slot.
Spells Known of 1st-Level and Higher. You know three 1st-level druid spells of your choice.
The Spells Known column of the Rage Shaman Spellcasting table shows when you learn more druid spells of 1st level or higher, and must be of a level for which you have spell slots. For instance, when you reach 7th level in this class, you can learn one new spell of 1st or 2nd level.
Whenever you gain a level in this class, you can replace one of the druid spells you know with another spell of your choice from the druid spell list. The new spell must be of a level for which you have spell slots.
Spellcasting Ability. Wisdom is your spellcasting ability for your druid spells, since your magic draws upon your devotion and attunement to nature. You use your Wisdom whenever a spell refers to your spellcasting ability. In addition, you use your Wisdom modifier when setting the saving throw DC for a druid spell you cast and when making an attack roll with one.
Spell save DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Wisdom modifier.
Spell attack modifier = your proficiency bonus + your Wisdom modifier.
Casting while Raging. You can cast a druid spell or cantrip while under the effects of Rage. You cannot cast a spell that requires Concentration or maintain Concentration on a spell while raging. If you still don´t attack an enemy with a regular attack or take damage while raging, your rage will end early. Using a cantrip or spell to damage an enemy does not count as attacking it to maintain your rage.
Ritual Casting. You can cast a druid spell as a ritual if that spell has the ritual tag and you know the spell.
Spellcasting Focus. Your melee weapons can be used as a spellcasting focus.

Focused Rage
Starting at 6th level, dealing damage with a spell or cantrip counts as attacking a hostile creature to keep a rage active.
In addition, you can now cast spells and cantrips that require Concentration or maintain Concentration from spells during a Rage.
If you have a spell that requires Concentration active before entering a rage, it will replace it´s maximum duration to that of the rage, no matter if it was longer or shorter.
When your Rage ends, you immediately lose Concentration on any active spell or cantrip.
Soul Fury
When you gain this ability at 3rd level, your Unarmored Defense changes to reflect your inner connection with nature. When not wearing any armor, your AC is equal to 10 + your Constitution Modifier + your Wisdom modifier. You can use a shield and still gain this benefit.
Power of Anger
At 10th level, you add your wisdom modifier to any damage you deal with a druid cantrip.
Additionally, when you cast a spell or cantrip that deals damage while raging you add your Rage Damage to the total damage.
Reckless Casting
At 14th level, you can choose to make a spell or cantrip more effective by getting yourself into a riskier position. This will either give you advantage on your spell attack or give the target disadvantage on their saving throws against your spell. Targets in affected by an area spell all would get disadvantage against it´s effects.
When you use this ability, all enemy spells either get advantage to hit you with spell attacks or give you disadvantage on your saving throws against them until your next turn.
