Fighter
Base Class: Fighter

The path of the Echoblade is one that has been walked countless times before, and yet, still hasn't been walked at all. Such is the paradoxial nature of those who choose this subclass. Very few take on the endeavor of becoming and Echoblade, and many of those who do perish once they become one, as the process of becoming an Echoblade is that of scattering your consciousness and soul itself throughout time and space. Many Echoblades are devoid of a lot of emotion, constantly very serious and never one to stray from an objective. Yet, at the same, it is truly curiosity that drives every Echoblade. As each part of their broken minds wanders on it's own accord, the now collective that was once a single person learns more and more each day. However, it is for the same reason that being an Echoblade requires a very hardened mind; most perish after a few weeks, unable to withstand the pressure of having their consciousness broken down into so many pieces. Those who survive, however, make some of the most fearsome warriors in the multiverse.

Knowledge of the Multiverse

The travels that you and your echoes have taken have revealed many small secrets to you. When you pick this subclass at 3rd level, choose two benefits from the list below. You gain those two benefits:

- You gain proficiency in one skills of your choice

- You are able to speak, read, and write one extra language of your choice

- You gain proficiency with one set of tools of your choice

Interdimensional Phase

At 3rd level, you are able to quickly phase your body out and back into this dimension. As a reaction to taking damage or being targeted by a ranged attack, you can use this feature to reduce the damage you took half, or give the ranged attack disadvantage on it's attack roll. You are able to use this feature once, and regain it when you complete a long rest. Starting at 10th level, the amount of times you can use this feature in between rests becomes your Fighter level divided by 5.

Reverb Counterattack

At 7th level, if you or a creature within 20 feet of you takes damage, you can use your reaction to summon one of your echoes to counterattack. The creature must make a Dexterity saving throw. The save DC for the throw is equal to your Fighter level + your Strength modifier. On a failed save, the creature takes force damage equal to the damage die of your weapon. On a successful save, the creature takes no damage. You must be able to see both the attacker and the creature taking damage to use this feature, and you cannot be restrained, incapacitated, or prone.

Echo Multiattack

At 10th level, you are able to swap between echoes fast enough to seem to teleport around. When you take the attack action on your turn, you can teleport 10 feet between each attack to an unoccupied place you can see. If you land every attack, you are able to teleport again, making another attack with advantage.

Dimension Swap

At 15th level, you are able to switch your body out with one of your echoes, giving yourself second chance. This replaces your "Second Wind" Feature. As an action, or reaction to an attack that would kill you, you can negate all damage of the attack and swap your body with an echo's. This rids you of all effects, conditions, and spell effects, and completely restores your health. However, after using this, your AC is lowered by -2 until you take a long rest. You can use this feature once, and regain usage of it after a long rest.

The Edges of Infinity

At 18th level, you can call upon multiple of your echoes to wreak havoc on a foe, harnessing the powers of infinity. When you hit a creature with an attack, you can cause that attack to be the trigger for this call. If you choose so, 5 of your echoes appear around the enemy. The echoes share your stats and weapon. Each echo immediately takes a turn, using it's movement to move closer to the enemy if needed and using it's action to attack the enemy. Each echo's attack is made with advantage, and deals force damage equal to your weapon's damage die + your fighter level. After each echo has made one attack, they all vanish. You can only use this feature once, and regain usage of it when you finish a long rest.

In addition, when using your Action Surge, you summon two echoes that appear directly next to you, and each takes an action directly after you, being able to take any action except for the Dash action. These two echoes vanish when each finishes it's turn.
