Base Class: Barbarian
For some Barbarians, rage is a form of power. A power that is to be used to help those who are not strong enough. The Path of the Valkyrie is lined with the bodies of your enemies, which in turn, has allowed you to make sure your allies are still standing. The Valkyrie’s weapons and armor are inscribed with runes that represent cures and wishes, allowing Valkyries to transfer those that have fallen to Valhalla. (This subclass is exclusive to Female barbarians only)
Valkyrja
Starting when you chose this path at 3rd level, you go into a trance while raging. While in this trance-like state, all attacks that successfully hit on a creature will charge a rune carved into one of your weapons.
These runes may be expended as a bonus action to heal you or another creature of your choosing within 30 feet of you. The runes remain active until your rage ends and you have a maximum of 10 at all times. You heal the target of your rune for an amount equal to one roll of your rune die plus your barbarian level and your proficiency bonus.
Rune die progression is as follows: 1d4 at 3rd level, 1d6 at 6th level, 1d10 at 10th level, and finally 1d12 at 14th level.
In addition, you can use your runes to strike your enemies with divine wrath. After you hit, you can expend one rune charge (no action) to deal extra radiant damage equal to one roll of your rune die plus your proficiency bonus. You can only use a rune to add damage once per round.
As a bonus action, you may spend 3 rune charges to cast Lesser Restoration. This counts as attacking a creature for purposes of maintaining your rage. You may cast this while raging.
In addition, you may spend 3 rune charges as a bonus action to select a number of friendly creatures that you can see within 30 feet equal to your proficiency bonus. Each hostile creature within 5 feet of a target must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or be pushed 5 feet away in a straight line from the target. Use Constitution as your spellcasting ability for this save DC. This counts as attacking a creature for purposes of maintaining your rage.
Óski
Beginning at 6th level, when you take damage while raging you charge a rune. If an enemy has multiple attacks, each successful attack against you charges a rune. You may then use your reaction to consume a rune and heal yourself for an amount dictated by your Barbarian level. Starting at 14th level, you gain the ability to use your reaction to consume a rune to heal a creature within 10 feet of you for an amount dictated by your Barbarian level.
Dísir
Beginning at 10th level, as a movement action, you are able to sprout two angelic like wings from your back for a short while. With these wings you are able to add 40 feet of movement (flying) in one direction of your choosing during one turn of combat.
Valhalla’s Calling
Beginning at 14th level, if the target of your healing rune is at 0 HP, they are healed for the standard amount, and in addition, they are shrouded in Valhalla’s light. Any attack roll made against that target has disadvantage until the end of your rage.
