Base Class: Barbarian
Typical barbarians harbor a fury that rises up to assist them in battle, granting them superior strength, durability and speed. Barbarians who follow the Path of Raging Fire instead accept a fire elemental as a companion. In battle, your totem elemental infuses you with an aura of primal power. The elemental pulls from the weave, feeding off of the heat of your rage and igniting it.
Elemental Rage
At 3rd level, you choose an elemental totem of fire. When you enter a rage, your elemental grants you an aura, and you gain the elemental creature type for the duration of the rage. You retain all other statistics but gain the following benefits of your chosen totem:
While you're raging, the first creature you hit every round takes Fire damage equal to 1d6 + ½ your Barbarian level.
Elemental Attunement
At 3rd level, you can briefly control fire. As an action, you can create a harmless shower of sparks nearby, or light a small fire.
Elemental Ally
At the 6th level, your aura and the elemental’s entwine, and you gain resistance to Fire damage.
In addition, when you take a short rest, you can choose to have your fire elemental consume 1 day's worth of food. If you do so, you regain an additional 1d6 hit points.
Force of Nature
At 10th level, your relationship with the totem elemental deepens. Once per long rest, you can call forth an Azer as described by the Conjure Minor Elementals spell.
True Elemental
At 14th level, the elemental and the warrior truly become one. Your movement leaves a trail of fire up to 30 ft. behind you as you move. Creatures that pass through this trail or end their turn within it take 3d6 fire damage. Your fiery trail fades at the start of each of your turns.
