Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

For centuries the linguine turmoil of the Kraken has drifted between souls in search for vengeance for the ruler of the sea. These touched souls are called Kraken Kin and they are a mix of pseudo Kraken and untamed anger. These individuals often mutate sea creature features such as gills, fins, scales and tentacles.

Pseudo Tentacles

Starting when you choose this path at 3rd level, you can grow pseudo Kraken tentacles on your back when you rage. If you do so, you can choose to grow 2 tentacles from your back that can act as weapons for grabbing your enemies. You can make a single melee weapon attack with these tentacles as a bonus action. You are proficient with your tentacles and they have a range of 10 ft. and do no damage. If the attack hits a creature that is the same size as you or smaller, the target is grappled by you. The creature can use an action to escape your grapple with a Strength (Athletics) or Dexterity (Acrobatics) check against your Tentacle DC with is equal to 8 + your proficiency modifier + your strength modifier. You can only grapple one creature at a time and can still have both hands free.

Connected to the Sea

Beginning at 6th level, you develop more aquatic features on your body. You are able to breath air and water at any time and have a swimming speed equal to your walking speed. You also gain resistance to cold damage when raging.

Storm Surge

Beginning at 10th level, your body begins to surge with the power of a sea storm. When you hit with a Tentacle attack, the target takes 1d6 thunder damage and becomes both grappledand restrained. On subsequent turns, you can deal an additional 1d6 thunder damage to a grappled target as a bonus action.

Krakens Thunder

Starting at 14th level, you have learnt how to channel your thunderous energy into your weapons. When you hit a creature with a melee weapon attack you may choose to deal thunder damage equal to the amount of Barbarian levels you have.

Once you use this feature, you cannot use it again until you take a short or long rest, or you score a critical hit, in which case you automatically deal thunder damage equal to your level and regain a use of this feature.
