Sorcerer
Base Class: Sorcerer

Your innate magic comes from the blood, the fusion between the living and the undead, a curse magically into a blessing perhaps. Maybe one of your ancestors was a prince of the night, maybe you've been cured from the curse of vampirism, but something within you remained or maybe you took part in some bloody ritual to achive a greater power.

The vampiric blood in your veins makes you look more pale,  your canines are longer and sharper than normal and you are cold to the touch. You can walk under the sun without any problem, but you prefer and seek the darness. Sometimes you are thirsty, your savage side wants to consume some fresh blood from some humanoid, but you can keep it under control.

The vampiric sorcerer combine the power of the arcane with the self healing and pseudo immortality vampires are known to allow the experience of the undead gift without becoming a real blood sucker.

Vampiric Body

Your body has been altered by the heritage of the creatures of the night. Starting at 1st level you gain resistance to necrotic damage and you have darkvision with a range of 120 feet. As an action, you can also gain the benefits of the spell Spider Climb up to 1 hour an amount of times per day equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum of 1).

Blood Thirst

Like a vampire you can follow your savage nature to strike your foes and drain their life force. Starting at 1st level, as an action you can make a melee spell attack on a creature, on a hit you deal 1 piercing plus an additional 1d4 necrotic damage. The damage increase to 2d4 when you reach 5th level in this class, then 3d4 at 11th and 4d4 at 17th. You also regain a number of hit points equal to the necrotic damage you deal with this attack, this effect does not apply if the creature is an undead or a construct.

Shapechanger

You are not bound only to your humanoid form anymore . Starting at 6th level, as an action you can spend a sorcery point to polymorph into a bat for 1 hour or until you end it with a bonus action or until you are reduced to 0 hit point while transformed. While in bat form you can use your Blood Thist action, but the necrotic damage will always be 1d4 regardless of your level in this class. You cannot speak or cast spells while transformed.

Also when you reach zero hit points, you can polymorph into a medium cloud of mist as a reaction and move up to 30 feet before changing back to your regular form. This movement doesn't provoke opportunity attacks, also you have resistance to bludgeoning, piercing and slashing damage from non magical attacks while in this form. You cannot speak or cast spells while transformed. You can use this feature a number of times per day equal to your Constitution modifier.

Both the abilities of Shapechange cannot be used while exposed to direct sunlight or on your next turn after taking radiant damage.

Vampiric Metabolism

Your body starts to discover the benefits of immortality. At 14th level, once per long rest, you can gain the benefit of the spell Regenerate if you don't use any action for at least 1 minute. As a bonus action you can also spend an amount of sorcery points equal to your Constitution modifier to roll the same amount of unused hit dice you have at your disposal and regain a number of hit points equal to the number rolled.

Both the abilities of Vampiric Metabolism cannot be used while exposed to direct sunlight or on you next turn after taking radiant damage.

Bloody Enhancement

Your vampire blood makes you live longer and phisically stronger. At 18th level your life span is increased by four times, also your Strenght, Dexterity and Constitution score increase by 2 (they can not exceed your maximum score).
