Base Class: Monk
The white eye belongs to a few monks that practice harmony and unity with the soul. They can spend years meditating trying to draw out the white eye that's hidden deep. The white eye grants the wielder advanced visual prowess and pinpoint accuracy only spoken of in legends. Few monks still exist today, but those that do are regarded with equal parts awe and fear.
White Eye
You have finally awakened your own White Eyes, either through strenuous training and meditation, fighting, or just cheer luck. You now have the power of the White Eye that only a few have mastered through history. Beginning when you choose this monastic tradition at 3rd level.
As a bonus action, you can activate your White Eye. While activated, your eyes turn nearly white, and you gain the following benefits:
● You gain the upper hand on your foes by being able to deal one additional Martial Arts Die with your unarmed strikes and monk weapons.
● Advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on sight.
● Advantage on Wisdom (Insight) checks.
● You know if a creature has any abilities such as spell slots, ki points, or sorcerer points.
Your White Eye can remain active for 10 minutes or until you are incapacitated or end it as a free action. You regain any expended uses after completing a short or long rest. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus.
At 11th level, as your White Eye grows stronger it can now remain active for 1 hour. While active, in addition to its previous benefits, you also gain truesight out to a range of 15 feet.
Gentle Fist
You know how to hurt your foes. Starting when you choose this monastic tradition at 3rd level, you learn to better use your unarmed strikes. Your unarmed strikes now deal additional damage that increases based on your monk level: +1 at 3rd level; +2 at 11th level; +3 at 17th level.
Ki Rotation
At 6th level, you have learned to release your ki from your whole body. As reaction to being hit, you can spend 2 ki points to surround yourself with your ki and spin. This creates a bubble of energy that protects you from the triggering attack and any subsequent attacks until the beginning of your next turn. Any attacks made against you, magical or otherwise, are made with disadvantage, and you have advantage on saving throws made against area of effect attacks. Additionally, any creature that attempts to touch/attack you during your Ki Rotation is pushed back 5 feet and takes two Martial Arts dice in damage.
Energy Blocking
Starting at 11th level, your precision with your White Eye has allowed your strikes to disrupt your opponent’s flow of energy. When using your Flurry of Blows, you can spend 3 additional ki points while your White Eye is active to force your opponent to make a Constitution saving throw. If your opponent fails this saving throw, you can target, ki points, sorcerer points or spell slots up to 5th level equal to your Wisdom modifier. The targeted resource is blocked for a number of rounds equal to your Wisdom modifier. Alternatively, you can choose to block your opponent’s ability to use it's bonus action and reaction for a number of rounds equal to your Wisdom modifier.
Gentle Fist Quivering Palm
At 17th level, you gain the ability to set up lethal vibrations in someone’s body. When you hit a creature with an unarmed strike, you can spend 3 ki points to start these imperceptible vibrations, which last for a number of days equal to your monk level. The vibrations are harmless unless you use your action to end them. To do so, you and the target must be on the same plane of existence. When you use this action, the creature must make a Constitution saving throw. If it fails, it is reduced to 0 hit points. If it succeeds, it takes 10d10 bludgeoning damage.
You can have only one creature under the effect of this feature at a time. You can choose to end the vibrations harmlessly without using an action.
