Paladin
Base Class: Paladin

This class is a work in progress.

Channel Divinity

When you take this oath at 3rd level, you gain the following two Channel Divinity options.

Empower Arcana. You can use your Channel Divinity to empower the magic of the spellcasters near you. Whenever a creature casts a spell within 30 feet of you, you can use your reaction and expend a use of your Channel Divinity to increase the spell DC of that spell by your charisma modifier. You must choose to do so as the spell is cast, and before the Dungeon Master reveals the result of the save. A creature can only benefit from this effect once per turn, regardless of the number of creatures that have this feature.

Alter the Rules. You have a profound connection to the arcane magic of the world, which allows you to ignore certain laws of magic. Using either an action or a bonus action, you may choose to target willing creatures with spells that normally have the target of self. If that spell requires concentration, you continue to be the one that concentrates on that spell.

Aura of Relativity

Beginning at 7th level, the blessings of the Arcane are powerful enough for you to further manipulate the foundation of certain spells.  You and friendly creatures within 10 feet of you may cast spells with the range of touch targeting any creature or object within the aura.

At 18th level, the range of this aura increases to 30 feet.

Arcane Smite

Starting at 15th level, When you use your Divine Smite feature, you may choose to deal damage of any type, rather than only radiant. This also applies to the damage from your Improved Divine Smite feature.

Preternatural Champion

At 20th level, you can become the avatar of magic. You might emit a soft glow, hover a few inches off the ground, your hair may blow as if in a wind storm, or some other manifestation of magical energy.

Using your action, you undergo a transformation. For 1 minute, you gain the following benefits:

  • You may concentrate on up to two spells at a time, rather than the usual one. If you are forced to make a concentration save, use the result for all spells you are concentrating on.
  • You may cast Paladin or Oath of the Keepers spells of 1st or 2nd level without expending a spell slot.

Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.
