Base Class: Bard
Bards of the College of Metallica are well known for hitting people with their instruments. While bards of other colleges play nice and smoothing melodies, bards of the College of Metallica play heavy metal music loud enough to shatter the ear drums of anyone unlucky enough to get too close. Bards of this college are famous for their concerts that they like to throw from time to time, giving everyone in the crowd bursts of energy.
Bonus Proficiencies
When you join the College of Metallica at 3rd level, you gain proficiency with medium armor and shields.
The Art of War
Also at 3rd level, you learn how to combine your weapon and instrument with magic. Your instrument and weapon of choice combine into one, it may look how you want, this is just flavor. The instrument weapon combination would use the same hit dice as the weapon used except it would be considered magical. You are proficient with weapons combined using Art of War. Depending on the instrument as well it may have special properties such as reach or light. Discuss this with the Dm. At 5th Level You gain extra attack when using an instrument with Art of War.
Crowd Favourite
At 6th level, as a reaction you gain the ability to hype up the people around you giving them a boost in their speed. Target creatures up to charisma modifier (plus 1) in a 30ft radius gain 20ft movement extra and get a plus 3 to initiative if used before combat.
Once you use this feature twice, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.
Warding sound
At 6th level, you can play a song to give an ally a buff to their ac, if an ally has a bardic inspiration die they can roll that and add the amount rolled to their ac as a reaction, last for one attack.
Percussion on a whole nother level
Starting at 14th level, You learn how to make a tremendous noise with your instrument. In a 30ft cone in front of you, you shoot out a tremendous noise. all enemies hit must succeed on a constitution saving throw. A target takes 4d4 Force damage, 4d4 Thunder damage and is Stunned until the start of your next turn. Enemies who made a successful save takes half damage and isn't stunned. Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.
