Base Class: Sorcerer
Your magical ability originates from the innate magic of Displacer Beasts. Whether it was the result of tampering by a wizard, fey trickery, or druidic romance, somehow for some reason your bloodline was mixed with that of a Displacer Beast's, giving you some of the creature's magical abilities. These sorts of bloodlines are incredibly rare but as with most things involving fey creatures they just sometimes happen, and are usually kept secret.
Unnatural Speed
Starting at 1st level, you gain a magical increase of 10 to your walking and climbing speed.
Displacement
Starting at 1st level, you gain the ability to project a magical illusion of yourself causing attack rolls made against you to be at disadvantage. The illusion is a perfect copy of yourself but is constantly moving to appear slightly to your left, to your right, in front of you, and behind you. You have no control over the exact location of where your illusion will appear, as it is constantly shifting and moving while mirroring your exact movements. This effect makes you look blurry.
If an attack is successfully made against you, this ability is disrupted until the end of your next short rest or unless you spend 1 Sorcery Point to regain the ability instantly. This ability is also disrupted if you are incapacitated or your movement speed has been reduced to 0.
At 10th level any successful attack made against you only disrupts this ability to the end of your next turn, instead of a short rest. But 1 Sorcery Point can still be spent to regain the ability instantly.
Avoidance
Starting at 6th level, if you are subjected to an effect that involves making a saving throw to halve the damage, you instead take no damage upon a successful save, and only half damage upon a failed save.
Displacer Tentacles
Starting at 14th level, you gain the ability to sprout a pair of Displacer Beast tentacles from your back. The tentacles are covered in blue-black fur and end in pads covered in spikes. You can create or dismiss the tentacles as a bonus action. The tentacles have a reach of 10ft and you can attack with one tentacle as a bonus action, or spend an action to attack with both tentacles. The tentacles use your Dexterity modifier, and the multi-tentacle attack also uses your proficiency bonus on attack rolls. A single tentacle attack does 1d6 piercing damage, while a multi-tentacle attack does 3d6 piercing damage.
Displacement Shift
Starting at 18th level, you gain the ability to use your displacement magic to temporarily move 10ft in any direction, at the end of your turn you return to your original location. While displaced you can take any action or bonus action as normal. This ability does not trigger attacks of opportunity. You can spend Sorcery Points to increase the distance you move with this ability, with a ratio of 1 Sorcery Point being equal to an additional 5ft.
