Base Class: Sorcerer
Shadow Servant
Here are the things it can and can't do:
- It can't make any sounds
- It can interact with objects and people, but it cant fight or deal damage directly
- It can't carry things, but it cant move objects by pushing or pulling them
- It disappears if you or it goes into a dark place, because you cant have a shadow if its dark
- The shadow will disappear if a light producing spell is cast exactly onto it and it will return after a short rest
Shadowlike
- See your own shadow when it is away from you and the surrounding 20 ft. around your shadow
- Change the shape of shadows you can see by 5 ft., you can't make shadows larger then they were
Your stronger bonding with your shadow has resulted in:
- The shadow being able to carry small objects and objects of smaller sizes
- Nonmagic attacks sometimes going trough you and not dealing damage to you, so you have +1 AC
- You being able to summon shadows in a circle of 10 ft. diameter around you
Shadowbinding
- To prepare for the ritual you have to make a semi-circle of candles, the bigger it is, the better. Then you put the nonmagical item inside the semi-circle and you have to stand inbetween the candles and the item, so that your shadow is projected onto the item.
- To perform the ritual you have to concentrate the best you can and force your shadow into the item that you have chosen, if you succeed, the shadow is bound to the item.
- Summon the shadow at will, and it will not appear without you summoning it
- Have full control over your shadow actions instead of giving it orders
- Summon shadows at the location of your shadow instead of only around you
- Have your shadow while you are in a dark place and while the shadow is in a dark place. The shadows stats (Strenght, dexterity, etc.) and proficiencies are the same as yours
- Your shadow can engage in direct combat, has its own turn in combat and is controlled completely by you
Shadowmaster
You have learned to:
- Absorb shadows, you can absorb the shadows of all creatures in a 30 foot circle around you and store them in the item that your own shadow is bound to. You can do this once per long rest.
- Unleash shadows, after you absorbed shadows, you can release them from the item you emprisoned them in and you can control them directly. The shadow have the exact same stats and proficiencies as the creature you took them from. They have the same abilities too, except if it are abilities that use physical matter (such as an acid spew, shooting an arrow, etc.) and they also can't cast spells. They can however still use melee weapons (those are also shadows and can't be used by anything or anyone else then the shadow of the creature that has them), these shadows can also still make attacks with their claws, bites, etc.
