Base Class: Sorcerer
Born of a poisonous womb, blessed by a powerful monster or miraculously surviving the bite of a serpent with magical venom. These are a few ways that Venomancers come in to being.
Venomous Gale
At 1st level, you learn the Poison Spray cantrip, which for you has a range of 30ft, and any time you deal poison damage to a creature they are poisoned until the start of your next turn.
Toxic Spray
At 1st level, whenever you deal poison damage to a creature, you can choose to deal damage to an additional creature you can see within 10ft of it, equal to half of the original poison damage.
Toxic Warden
Starting at 6th level, you have resistance to poison damage and advantage on saving throws against being poisoned or paralyzed.
Whenever you deal poison damage to a creature you can add your charisma modifier to the damage roll.
As a reaction, you can spend 2 sorcery points to remove the poisoned condition from a creature you can see within 60ft and create a toxic orchid in an empty space within 5ft of that creature. The orchid can immediately make a ranged attack against a creature of your choice within 30ft of it, dealing 2d6 poison damage on a hit. You can use your reaction on following turns to have it make this attack again. The first time it is attacked, or after 1 minute, the orchid bursts and is destroyed dealing 2d6 poison damage to every creature within 5ft of it.
Caustic Sting
At 14th level, your poison attacks have become more potent. You deal half damage against creatures with poison immunity and full damage against those with poison resistance.
As a Bonus Action, you can spend 2 sorcery points to create a 20ft diameter poison cloud and take the Dash action. The cloud heavily obscures the area, deals 2d12 poison damage to any creature that enters it or starts its turn there and lasts until the end of your next turn.
Poison Nova
At 18th level, as an Action you can spend 6 sorcery points to create a Poison Nova in a 60ft radius sphere centered on you. Choose any number of creatures you can see within this area to become poisoned for 1 hour. Creatures poisoned in this way take 1d12 poison damage every round, but can not be reduced below 1 hit point by this damage.
