Base Class: Bard
Bards of the college of blood use their music as sadistically as their weapons. These musicians fuse dark magic to their tunes, producing beautiful songs that lure victims ever closer to their dark end. Often taking assassin contracts or performing for merchants along the road, the siren song of a bloody bard is the dirge of many unwary travelers.
Cruel Hemorrhage
When you join the College of Blood at 3rd level, level you learned to cut deeply with your blade as well as your words. Once per turn, as a bonus action, you can cut your foes for 1d4 bleed damage over the next two rounds. This damage can stack up to 3d4 per round, ending on the round you fail to continue damaging your enemy.
Stolen Secrets
Also at 3rd level, you may chose a warlock spell where you would normally chose a bard spell. You may have access to two warlock spells at once, and can swap them out each time you level up. A spell you choose must be of a level you can cast, as shown on the Bard table, or a cantrip. The chosen spells count as bard spells for you but don’t count against the number of bard spells you know.
Screeching Tune
At 6th level, your amount of bardic inspiration doubles, and you may use them to deal damage to your enemies. As a bonus action, you can use your bardic inspiration to deal thunder damage to an enemy within range, forcing their ears to bleed on command.
Song of a Stolen Shadow
Starting at 14th level, you gain the cunning action feature, as if you were a rogue.

Posted Feb 26, 2021Also, GREAT job with this subclass.
I dislike bards in general, and their subclasses are boring, but if this one got released as official DnD material, I would 100% play a bard and use this subclass.
Amazing job.

Posted Feb 26, 2021Nope, they just have abilities at 3rd, 6th, and 14th level. Not 18th.

Posted Mar 30, 2019I absolutely love this idea and will likely use it as I'm playing a bard right now, but there doesn't seem to be anything for level 18 (I'm new to D&D and D&D beyond so if there's not supposed to be a benefit for level 18 I wouldn't know)
