Base Class: Barbarian
The sight of a barbarian is enough to make anyone soil themselves in fright. The brute size, the dangerous weapons, and the unriveled anger of barbarians make them stand out among all the other classes, but some barbarians don't want to just be feared, but become fear. These barbarians will venture down the Path of the Savagery.
These Babarians pride themselves on being the scariest thing on the battlefield. They revel in their anger, relish in their pain, and laugh at death. These barbarians gladly wear the title Savage and use it well. If you hear of a Savage then the only real course of action is to run... while you still can.
Apparent Insanity
When you are attacked the creature that attacked you must succeed on Wisdom Saving Throw or become frightened. The DC on the saving throw is equal to (10 + Charisma Modifier +Proficiency).
Intimidation Factor
You have learned to smell the fear of other creatures. When you attack a creature that is frightened of you it takes an extra 1d4 psychic damage.
Juggernaut
Your intimidating pressence causes creatures to fear you. Starting at 6th level, during your rage, you may add your Charisma modifier to your unarmored defence. This can only be used once before a long rest. This increases to 2 times at 12th level and 3 times at 16th level
Savagery
Starting at 10th level, you become a gruesome destroyer. You aim for the most vital and easily exposed spots to deal more damage. Your rage damage modifier is now equal to half your level.
Bloody ambitions
At 14th level you have become so savage that the world fears you. Anyone who manages to damage you becomes frightened until their next turn.

Posted Dec 24, 2020This makes me think of the Grinch! He would definitely be a path of Savagery barbarian.

Posted Apr 6, 2019Just one note, at 14th level, I think that Bloody Ambitions is a bit too over powered, and I'm not sure how the whole Juggernaut effect works. Is it just for one turn which you can add your Charisma to your armour? Overall, a good build.
