Base Class: Barbarian
Raised by others to be a mount during battle.
Being Mounted
While a creature is mounted in your saddle you may forgo your movement on your initiative and your rider can move you both on their initiative.
You and your rider are deemed as being on the same 5ft square so would each benefit from abilities that have the classification of “A creature within 5ft” such as Sentinel or Pack Tactics.
Protect your Rider
You can use your reaction to force a creature that was going to attack your rider to attack you instead.
Your travel pace is also doubled, as is the travel pace of up to 5 companions while they’re within 30 feet of you and you’re not incapacitated. Your rider, while mounted, is not considered as one of the possible companions whose travel pace you can influence.
Fighting in Synergy
You can forgo one of your attacks to give your rider an attack using their reaction. When they do so the target must make a wisdom saving throw or be frightened of you till the end of your next turn. The save DC for this is 8 + Strength Modifier + Proficiency as you use your imposing size and combined fighting might to scare them.
The Field Is Mine
While you’re raging, any creature within 5 feet of you that’s hostile to you has disadvantage on attack rolls against targets other than you or another character with this feature. An enemy is immune to this effect if it can’t see or hear you or if it can’t be frightened.
