Monk
Base Class: Monk

Some believe we are not alone in the universe. Alien entities and theories flood their mind. The expanse of the universe may be endless. Some are frightened of this possibility. Others use it as a motivation to achieve perfection within themselves to prove to an uncaring universe that they can still retain sanity. Those who follow the Way of the Cosmos study the stars, work with fallen meteorites, and harness the magic from the celestial bodies into their ki, creating a bond between them and the expanse of the universe.

Starry Eyed

At 3rd level, your study of the stars enhances your ki into radiance that resembles that of solar flares and small exploding stars. Whenever you hit a hostile creature with an unarmed strike, you may spend 1 ki point to attempt to blind the creature until the end of your next turn. The creature makes a Wisdom saving against your Monk save DC. The creature must be able to see you for this effect to occur.

Bonus Proficiencies

At 3rd level, your study of the sky at night and the path of the planets and stars allows you increased knowledge when traveling. You gain proficiency with navigator's tools and cartographer's tools. If you already have proficiency in either of these skills, you choose a new tool to become proficient in.

Comet Fist

At 6th level, you gain the ability to push your body to swiftness and potency, focusing your ki into moving through your surroundings with the speed that a comet falling into the atmosphere has. As an action, you can spend 3 ki points to cast the haste spell on yourself.

Shooting Star Assault

At 11th level, your ki reflects your inner light like the moon reflects the light of the sun, bolstering your unarmed strikes to give the essence of radiance and the solar power to give a beating even from a distance. You can choose to make your unarmed strikes deal radiant damage instead of bludgeoning. Also, during any part of your turn you can choose to spend any number of ki points to extend the range of your unarmed strikes by 15 for every ki point spent until the end of your turn.

Constellation Strike

At 17th level, the radiant energy that you've practiced and the star's brilliant light that you've honed over time has finally reached its peak to create your own constellations in your mind, sending them forward to shed their light on your enemies. As an action, you can choose up to four creatures within 60 feet of you, and you spend 2 ki points for every creature targeted in this way.

Each target must make a Dexterity saving throw against your Monk DC or take 3d10 radiant damage, taking half as much on a successful save. Additionally, for 1 minute after taking damage from a failed save, an affected creature sheds bright light for 30 feet and dim light for an additional 30 feet.
