Expanded Spell List

The Bloodlord lets you choose from an expanded list of spells when you learn a warlock spell. The following spells are added to the warlock spell list for you.

Life Tap

Starting at 1st level, you may cast a 1st level spell without using a spell slot. When you do so, it is cast as if a 1st level spell slot was used to cast it, and you take (1d8 - your Charisma modifier) damage. The damage is reduced to (1d6 - your Charisma modifier) at level 6, and to (1d4 - your Charisma modifier) at level 10.

Sanguine Resonance

Starting at 6th level, you can echo your strength from a previous attack. When you successfully deal damage from an attack or spell, you may save the number you rolled for the damage. The next time you would deal damage, you may use your saved number instead of rolling for damage. You may use this number (2 + Your Charisma Mod. [min. 1]) times before needing to save a new number. You may only save one number at a time.

Once you use this feature to save a number, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.

Circle of Blood

Starting at 10th level, you can drain the life force from a creature. That creature must pass a DC (15 + Your Charisma Modifier [min. 1]) Constitution Saving Throw, taking 3d8 necrotic damage on a failed save, or half as much on a successful one. You recover hit points equal to the damage you dealt.

Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a short or long rest.

Blood Mirror

Starting at 14th level, when a creature hits you with an attack or spell, you can use this feature to instantly mirror the damage and effects onto them as a reaction.

The creature loses the exact amount of hit points you did and is affected by any effects it put upon you, including effects such as suggestion or frightened.

Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.
