Bard
Base Class: Bard

As much as the typical ballads can be melodic comedy or satire compositions, the college of metal focuses on emphasizing the breakdown of current morality by narrating of dark omens, clashes between diabolical forces and immense tragedies. Their works are characterized by strongly aggressive rhythms and by a powerful sound, obtained through the amplification of musical instruments and voices making it become an otherworldly sound. In war they often paint their faces to depict monstrosities. It is easy to identify the Bards belonging to this college, just by seeing them in battle and hearing the sound of Heavy Metal.

Heavy

When you join the College of Metal at 3rd level, you gain proficiency with medium, heavy armor and shields.

Brutal Distortion

At 3rd level, you learn that the art of metal is fast, aggressive and strong but above all that it has come the time for everyone else to learn it too. You learn the cantrip vicious mockery, to do so you can play and distort your instrument as a somatic component or produce a guttural scream as a verbal component. This doesn't count against the maximum number of cantrips you know, and if you already know it you can choose to learn another one from the Bard's spell list.
When you use the cantrip, choose the saving throw that the target must pass, in case of failure the target takes damage as normal and has disadvantage to the next attack, saving throw or ability check which involves the same ability as the saving throw.
In addition, as a bonus action, when a target falls victim to the cantrip, once per turn you can choose to spend a Bardic Inspiration Dice and apply one of the following additional effects:
·         Speed: as a bonus action, you can cast vicious mockery again on a target other than the first.
·         Trash: All hostile targets within 10 feet of the target creature must pass a Constitution saving throw or take Thunder damage equal to the Bardic Inspiration Die roll.
·         Power: Inflicts additional lightning-type damage equal to the Bardic Inspiration Dice roll, if the target is concentrating on a spell, it makes the saving throw with disadvantage.

Whenever you can replace or learn a new spell or cantrip, you can choose any spell or cantrip from the spell list associated with the school of necromancy instead. These are considered Bard spells for you and must be of a level for which you have spell slots.
In addition, as a bonus action, you can use the following distortions:
·         Death: Inflict additional necrotic damage equal to the Bardic Inspiration Dice roll, until the start of your next turn the target cannot recover hit points.
