Base Class: Monk
You follow the ways of a monastery which teaches the secrets of manipulating your full body. You learn how to use your Ki to empower your muscles, squeezing out all the power your body holds. Vermilion Arts was designed first and foremost for combat purposes, specializing in quick fights against large enemies. The larger they are, the harder they fall. Unlike in other monasteries, Way of the Vermilion Arts focuses more in brute force, rather than agility, but it has techniques which utilize both aspects of the body as well.
Enhanced Ki Manipulation
When you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you learn different techniques (katas) which use your ki to replicate spells and other effects.
Whenever you learn a new kata, you can additionally replace a single kata that you already know with a different one.
Additionally, when you make a check to grapple, avoid being grappled, or for shove attacks, you can use your Dexterity modifier instead of Strength.
