Monk
Base Class: Monk

Traditionally, Monks train for decades to become one with oneself, opening the path to Enlightenment and becoming one with everything.
Monks following the Way of the Chad, have always been one with  "themselves". They strive to make everything one with themselves.

Aura of the Chad

At 3rd level, your mastery of the Chad, allows you to emit an Aura of self importance.
On your turn, you can spend 2 ki points as a bonus action to emit the Aura of the Chad for 30 minutes. You determine the Aura's color, shape, and the emotional presence it emits based on the qualities of your character.

While your Aura is activated you gain the following benefits:

  • You can use your Constitution modifier in place of your Charisma modifier when making Charisma checks and Charisma saving throws.
  • The aura extends 20 feet from the Monk. The Aura alters the Monk's perception of those the Monk can see. The Monk believes non-hostile characters are friends, and subsequently worship the Monk, while hostile characters grovel in fear before the monk. Characters within range of the Aura roll at Disadvantage when Attempting to Deceive, Intimidate, or Persuade the Monk.
  • While the Aura is active, after a successful Attack action, the Aura of the Chad extends an additional 5 feet. As a Bonus Action, the Monk can roll to Intimidate the enemy.

Failing Upwards

At 6th level, whenever your Attack action misses against a creature, you gain one point of Self Righteousness. If your attack roll results in a Natural One, you instead gain 1d4 points of Self Righteousness  You can store points of Self Righteousness up to one third of your Monk level rounded down. These points reset to 0 after a short rest.

  • When you hit a creature with a melee attack, you can expend any number of Self Righteousness points, dealing 1d4 points of force damage per point expended. Your next (X) attack rolls are at disadvantage for every point expended this way.

Awakening of the Chad

Starting at 11th level, you tap into the Chad. While your Aura is active you gain the following benefits.

Denial. When you take slashing, bludgeoning, piercing, or psychic damage you can use your reaction to deny it ever happened. When you do so, the damage you take is reduced by 1d8 + your Constitution modifier + your monk level.

DeniedWhen failing to Deceive, Intimidate, or Persuade a character, the Chad can make another attempt at Disadvantage.

Word of the Chad. When you speak through your Aura, you can amplify your voice so that all creatures within 1200 feet can hear you.

True Aura of the Chad

Starting at 17th level, You have become one with the Chad. On your turn, you can spend 10 ki points as a bonus action to emit the True Aura of the Chad for 69 minutes, to a range of 20 feet. You determine the Aura's appearance based on the qualities of your character. Successful attacks extend the range of the Aura by 10 feet.

While you emit the True Aura of the Chad, you gain the following benefits.

Chad didn't fall. If you take damage that reduces you to 0 hit points and that doesn’t kill you outright, you can use your reaction to deny going unconscious, and instead regain one hit point. Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.

Flurry of Righteousness. Expending charges of Righteousness now deals 1d6 points of Damage, and no longer puts your subsequent attacks at Disadvantage.

One with the Chad. When a creature within your Aura is reduced to 0 hit points, you can use your reaction to absorb the creature into the Chad, regaining Righteousness points equal to your Constitution modifier. (minimum 1).
